I think he went too far, he sounds like a stupid prick, I mean people make mistakes I have to deal with that stuff all the time - just yesterday some of my guys cost the company a lot of money and I got a lot of hassle for his fuck up, Do I go shout and scream at him ?

He clearly has anger issues. Might be some sort of drugs, might be over tired, might be ill.

He overreacted. The guy was apologizing and trying to fix the situation but Christian Bale just lost it.

Wasn't there some stuff about him beating up his sister or something like that a few months ago?

I think it had something to do with his mother and sister trying to pressure his wife into giving them money and Bale confronted them over it.

Acting can be serious business, and if someone fucks your scene up.
This IS acceptable behaviour. Some people get really into their character.

Nonsense. Just because there is a 'reason' (getting too involved with the character) does not mean it is "acceptable". That makes no sense. I doubt that's the real reason anyway.

Heath Ledger died from drugs. Anyone who thinks that he got too involved with the Joker character is an idiot. This just doesn't happen, especially not with long time actors.

He is very passionate about his craft and wants perfection.

He doesnt want some asshole making him lose his motivation with his scene.

Example...giving a speech and some loser is talking while you are talking about something important.

Or better yet, som basketball player at the free throw line and someone making geers at him.....
