Damn Straight the Beasty Boys had some party songs!!
Pretty dumb not to have any of the old school guys who started rap on the list. One guy who I think will be on the list as he gets further in his career is Canadian rapper Belly. He's not scared to give contraversial opinions, is backed by Snoop Dogg, and can rap about mid-east politics while making party jams too:
Educated in curry and bath houses
1980's are still the best decade for Hip Hop, Rap, Heavy Metal, movies, etc.
90's were way better. Hair metal alone knocks down the 80's score
Hells no. The very early 90's were ok, but after that it was just plain awful.
Who's a Kirk Cobain fan then?
Little queef killed rock.
Bought a lot of their cds. Swept along in the hype: listened to them trying to find something to like. They just gather dust, while I replay Disraeli Gears, Are You Experienced, etc.
I bought the first CD....it was ok, but AIC and Soundgarden were both FAR superior in every way to Nirvana.
I'm stuck in the 1980's. BDP, Run Dmc, Ice T, Eric B, PE, Jungle Brothers, Slayer, Maiden, Megadeth, Ozzy, SOD, Athrax, Mc Lyte, etc.
