Twitter was great years ago say 2013 - 2017, when it was not stop shit posting. Now the only thing it is good for is emergency broadcasts.

I found it a bit odd that old Jack decided to step down.
Initial thoughts...
Maybe his Square company was going to do something crypto related that would be a conflict of interest with whatever Twitter is doing with blockchain technology.
Maybe he is about to be implicated in some scandal that could destroy Twitter unless he distances himself from it
Maybe people inside the company are tired of his bullshit (under his leadership they have silence Trump amongst others and its highly against Freedom of Speech in many respects)

I'd sure like to experience life as a retired person with a $12 billon nest egg. No doubt most of it is invested and will continue to grow for as long as he lives or until his beard stops growing.

I know a couple of those guys. Always begging for more venture capital but can’t execute. They have a thousand ideas but can’t pull them off. About the only thing of value in the companies is the patents
