If you cannot turn off getbig long enough or take the time to get your wife to do it something is really wrong.
Why are you training your kid for 3 days a week at the gym... for what? You don't have him in a sport!
1. His baseball season has been the same for the last 6 years.
2. Travel ball is upwards of $200.00 per week but aside from that, unlike you I have a job and couldn't do it every weekend.
3. He will not play football because he's going into a Jr. Golf program.
4. He's training 3 days per week (you should try it sometime) to be ready for the upcoming baseball season.......that's how OFFSEASON training works. next year he'll be playing baseball for his school.
