She was the only person trying to climb through the broken window of the barricaded Speaker’s Lobby door, which was all that separated the mob of Trump supporters from members of Congress.
She was repeatedly told to stay out yet she chose to attempt to climb through a window where armed police pointing guns at her had repeatedly told her to stay out
She made a really really stupid move by attempting to climb through that window and she paid for it with her life. I would hope that not even a phony "coach" would be that stupid. When a cop is pointing a gun at you and telling you to stay back it's pretty obvious that the correct course of action is to stay to the fuck back.

The officer’s statement matches the account of a fellow member of the pro-Trump mob, Thomas Baranyi, who caught Babbitt as she fell back. Baranyi, who still had Babbitt’s blood on his hand when he spoke to a local news crew outside the Capitol minutes later, said that “a number of police and Secret Service were saying, ‘Get back, get down, get out of the way.’ She didn’t heed the call.”
