If that is the case...I should get 500 crossed off the To-Do list as soon as possible.

I may be able to pull that right now...it wouldn't necessarily be pretty, but I should be around there.

Maybe I'll do 475 just to be safe, then make a decision.

Then my longer term goal is to get that up to 550 [shouldn't be a problem], while leaning out to 185 [this will be trickier].

But if B. Hank is aiming for a 500 deadlift, the immediate goal for me should be to get that...then squat 370 or more next time to get ahead of his 365 squat.

Anything beyond that is a bonus.

I feel like he is already acknowledging that I'm ahead of him in bench - just in a roundabout way, typical of B. Hank to do.

I literally moved you to the front the second I saw you benched 330lbs not sure how that is a roundabout way seems rather direct to me. It will probably be 3-4 weeks before I attempt a heavy single myself.

As always the story of my demise has been greatly exaggerated did you ever try the flat bench and see how it felt? Need to get you verified on the board someone has to push Matty. I actually sent a request to hammer strength for a quote on a plate loaded incline hammer. I want to add one of those to my equipment as I always liked those but I need more space first anyway
