Interesting to say the least.  But what is also interesting is that a journalist doesn't know how to adjust the time/date of her own camera.   According to her camera, that picture was taken May 1, 2005 at 12:59am.

What DRUDGE did was put the story into the national spotlight without having to take any responsibility for it.   They let their 3.5 million readers (including every media source in DC and the world, which read Drudge first every morning) hear about this "rumor", but also linked them to the DailyKOS and their very complete list of evidence paiting this story as fishy.

In addition to Drudge, dozens of other small websites are all over it.  DailyKos, Perez hilton, every forum and message board out there is on it.  MSNBC scrolled the rumor yesterday, and world newspapers are all over it.  Our own networks will get it last - a true testament to how things really work in the media.  You have to have thousands of intenet sleuths discovering deleted hospital records, etc for the mainstream media to notice it.  

It's a terrible story - IF it is true, she should have declined the offer for the VP slot.  No way a secret like this would pass the smell test.  Plus she used the water-breaking story to appear heroic - bravely giving a speech then flying 8 hours in labor - when in reality, if you have a pre-mature baby with downs syndrome, and your water breaks in the middle of the night, you don't wait 17+ hours to get to a hospital.

I agree with this, and it's the main reason I'm doubting the story.   She/McCain would have to know the story would see light eventually, and it would be a killer.  The majority of the coverage is the left wing blogside.

Even if the story is completely true, it brings something else to light...

She has already given birth to 4 kids.  Women know that each delivery comes faster than the last.  By the time the 5th baby comes, it's practically sliding outta there.

IF she was indeed pregnant, she put the kid's life at risk by waiting 16+ hours after water breaking.  I mean, what if she goes into labor on the plane?  Pre-mature baby with downs... and she gets on a plane?  No doctor in America would allo her to do that - except - for her personal doctor, the one she gave a major Alaska post/promotion to, in 2007

Obama smoked and exposed his kids to cancer causing agents for years.   Relevant?  No, just as this isn't.  Don't bother getting into the semantics of which situation is worse, it's just drivel.

These are just stories to pull people away from real issues.  The truth is, this is an election that should be an absolute slam dunk for the Democrats, and they've managed to nominate the one candidate that just might lose it.   As much as I absolutely despise Hilary Clinton, the election would be over right now had she been the nominee.  The Democrats continue to be their own worst enemy.
