Back in 1992 , I had some Mormon Missionaries come to our door.My ( ex) wife and I invited them in and I told them one thing quite clearly;" We'll listen to you and even offer you a meal with us. But we will ask serious questions andit's doubtful you'll convert us."They both gave a wry smile as if they knew something , I didn't.They came by 3 weekend evenings , I learned a lot about Mormonism and I enjoyed the religious debate. On the 4th visit, they came by and looked down saying they couldn't see us any longer.Their church elders were disturbed by my questions and felt I was a bad influence.Since we weren't going to convert, they felt it was best if they stopped visiting us.I smiled , shook their ends and said ; " I enjoyed our conversations and was sincere in my questions. Good luck."
