You could throw a 45 pound plate? my gym is having a contest for charity for the kids wing at the hospital and one of the things we are doing is a plate throwing contest.No running start just standing in place and hauling that fucker....

the Olympic shot putter in the 70's Brain Oldfield supposedly got angry at a guy for using a piece of equipment he wanted and threw a 45 pound plate halfway across the gym at him.

That's nothing. Brandon Curry threw a 45 lbs plate once into the sky... next thing you know there's a spy satellite hurtling towards earth!
