Heartburn and exercise.
« on: May 05, 2013, 05:19:09 PM »
I've been away from the gym for the last four and a half months. I started a renovation on my house and had to move out into a winter beach rental. Needless to say I ate crap everyday and stopped lifting. That, coupled with the stress of the renovation and my son being born, I developed massive heartburn lately with reflux. I actually went in to the doctor thinking I had a heart problem, but the blood work came back negative and after talking about my problems, that's what was determined. My question, do any of you feel exercise, as a stress reliever among other things, helps heartburn, or is it all due to diet and stress. Also, any tips on what to stay away from but is still "bodybuilder" friendly would be appreciated. Thanks.
