DOZENS of Food Crops Treated with Pre-Harvest Roundup
https://www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com/pre-harvest-roundup-crops-not-just-wheat/
Glyphosate (Roundup) is applied directly to dozens of nonGMO food crops, in many cases, right before they are harvested. This is the worst possible time to apply a herbicide because it causes the glyphosate to be absorbed into the food crop directly. In other words, the glyphosate can’t be washed off later as it has become part of the food. This toxin will then be ingested by those who consume it either directly as a “whole food” or via processed foods that contain it as an ingredient.

All soybeans contain glyphosate and have for many years.  Soybeans are genetically modified to be glyphosate resistant.

It's not harmful in the quantities ingested and degrades quickly in the environment.

Glyphosate has been tested very thoroughly.

You have more to worry about from your drinking water, sun exposure and your Christmas tree.

So are a lot of other Roundup Ready crops.  Who says it's not harmful?  The Monsanto sponsored studies? ::)

"Glyphosate not only kills weeds, it also kills many of the beneficial kinds of bacteria that are found in the guts of bees, dogs and humans. These bacteria are an integral part of our body and play major roles in both physical and mental health. The World Health Organization has declared glyphosate a probable carcinogen"

" For example, although it is now well documented that bees are dying due to long-term exposures to pesticides, the EPA has only requested that producers do short-term toxicity studies. Therefore, unless the chemical kills the bee outright, its use will be allowed.

"there is a striking correlation between the decline of the bee population, which was first widely noted in the late 1990s -- soon after the introduction of neonicotinoids and glyphosate resistant crops -- and an increase in the relative frequency of several human diseases, such as autism and gastrointestinal conditions, in the same time frame.
