Coronavirus cases are surging in San Francisco and infections among adults aged 25 to 39 are the main driver of the increase.

In May, 25- to 39-year-olds accounted for just over 35% of monthly new cases, but in July, they’re up to 50%. This surge is part of a general spike in the number of coronavirus cases in San Francisco, which has outpaced the statewide infection rate.

But wait, there's more.  Trump supporting Health Care workers in deeply Red Los Angeles, those right wing haters, are also going heavily unvaxxed:

At Redlands Community Hospital, 42% of workers were not vaccinated as of July 16, according to federal data. At Kaiser Foundation Hospital West L.A., 33% were unvaccinated. At Kaiser Foundation Hospital Riverside, 29%. Officials said about 30% of employees at Los Angeles County hospitals — including  “safety net” facilities that care for uninsured and underinsured patients — were still unvaccinated, though federal figures put the unvaccinated rate far closer to 50% at County USC Medical Center in Los Angeles and County Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar, and at 38% at County Harbor-UCLA Medical Center near Torrance.

Having grown up around hospitals this is typical. It’s never the treatment, always the patient’s fault, in this case they’re trying to blame those smart enough to not get the treatment.
