i'm not giving the kid any advise, I workout for nearly 4 years now only, so I don't think I'm qualified to give advice.

because it grew from 7 inches to 10inches while i put on 40 pounds of muscle from age 16-25

Daddy you have good development across the shoulder girdle but your midsection is really holding you back. If you can bring down your waist 5" or so, you could start to develop a nice taper. It's not clear to me how much of your waist size is fat and can be shed. I guess we will find out when you start to diet.
