Since 1998 Oregon has been exclusively vote by mail. Drop boxes are still an option for those folks who wait until the last minute to vote. Someone once suggested to me that when you vote early, you avoid endless campaign calls. They lied. But more often than not I mail in my ballot the same day it arrives... so as not to forget to vote.
