Have you researched the efficacy or mind altering effects of these drugs? Have you taken courses in psychopharmacology and do you actually know what these drugs do?

Cocaine CAN be moderated, just as alcohol can.

In fact, far fewer deaths occur from cocaine than alcohol per incidence of use. That is statistical fact.

I'm really not one to debate on these issues. If anyone who disagrees with me bothered to actually look at the scientific and medical studies done on these drugs they would realize I am right.

You seem to be suggesting that everyone who does rec drugs even once later becomes addicted and turns into a killer.

Millions of people use recreational drugs and the sweeping majority of them are not addicted or off murdering their mistress.

People kill people. People who use drugs kill people. It's time to stop pretending the issue is so simplistic as saying drugs cause everything bad in the word and start looking at the relevant issues in a critical manner.

Thanks, yes that is my point!! I believe in respecting drugs and I don't feel Don is doing that. I think a lot on here share that opinion.

Dude - listen to the interview Don did on Muscleradio - he won't take any diuretics and his protein intake is low. He doesn't need to use diurectics due to nocternal dialysis.

You think keeping drugs illegal does this. I think we learned in the twenties that prohibition doesn't work. Also, something to think about: if everyone was open about their drug use, the government would be unable to fight drug use. When I go to the clubs, upwards of 75% of the patrons are using illegal drugs. If they all made it clear that was the case, do you think the police would go ahead and arrest all of them? Of course not. I would say that at least 80% of the population in North America has tried an illegal drugs at some point or another. If anyone was upfront and admitted that do you think 80% of the population would be sent to prisons? Of course not.

Here is something maybe you can agree with me on: the current system does NOT work. That is obvious and the proof is all around us. I could make ONE phone call and get an ounce of coke in my hand. Obviously prohibition doesn't stop people from having availability of drugs and the current "war" on drugs is a complete failure.

It's not to find a system that is more progressive. Is the answer full legalization and control of drugs? In my opinion, and in countless research I've read by economists, philosophers, sociologists, and everyone in between - yes. But then again, I may be wrong. The only thing I know for certain is that the current system does not work and has harmed thousands of people and cost billions of dollars.

I totally agree that prohibition isn't and never was the answer. As long is there is a demand, the will be a supply...like immigration.
