I need to get a dog. I just travel too much for work and I don't trust anyone to leave it with and I refuse to board a dog. I am going to retire in 7 years, so getting a dog will be the first thing on my list.

Your right, it is not fair to the dog. The last chocolate lab I had I was still married and she worked from home. He got plenty of attention, care and love. Dogs deserve all that and more. I really didn't want a dog until recently because it took several years for me to get over his passing. I didn't ever want to go through that again but by the time I retire I will want one so bad I won't be able to hold back.

she got a new collar for christmas, is getting an Edmonton Oilers pug jersey and a new bed. She just got a clean bill of health where it was not believed she was about to be 11 years old. Shes my baby
