Guess what just "conveniently" passed in the U.S. Senate on December 8th? The Portman-Murphy Counter-Propaganda Bill. It's a part of the NDAA.
Officially, the purpose of the bill: "promotes coordinated strategy to defend America, Allies against propaganda and disinformation from Russia, China, and others.". It directs the establishment of the Center for Information Analysis and Response. The Center would "lead and coordinate the collection and analysis of information on foreign govt information warfare efforts". Funded through a $20 million dollar grant/contract which would be given to civil society groups, journalists, NGOs, Fed Funded research and dev centers, private companies, or academic institutions.
The Ministry of Truth has just been formed..............
