Look at my friend's hair!!!

Yesterday she went for a cut and color w/a guy that she had been to once before who had done a fine job.

She's to get it "fixed" today in another salon.

You might perhaps advise her to cease and desist dating hairdressers?

I'd console her first.
Then suggest that she just grows it out, let it go long and forever forget about trendy hairdos.

(But I've probably got someplace filed away even better pix of bad hair days my mates have had... 

I remember coming home from work once and my roomate had day-glo flourescent orange hair and half of her forehead and neck were carrot coloured too, she was in tears.  She then had a diabetic fit and we had to take her to emergency in my turquoise flannel housecoat.

Unfortunately I do not have a photo of the time I let someone at Vidal Sassoon in Toronto in the 80s (Ohhhh but he was a lovely mad fuck and it took me ages to allow him to) do an upside down triangle job on my head.  They permed it first and coloured it silly.

After that I wore dark sunglasses and a silly hat for 6 months then never ever again let anyone near me for more than a quarter inch trim. 

Even after, when it grew back, they always seemed to need to cut off 2 inches.  Fuck hairdressers.
I do it myself nowadays.

I'm looking forward to having a very long silvergrey ponytail.  I'll never be blonde.

uh...if my wife came out like that there would be a crippled barber in this town. Pin him and take a buzzer with not clip and give him "spots".

I've just realised that (to add insult to injury?), she perhaps paid a lot of money for that?

so, I obviously don't know what I'm talking about because we got ours done for free (as "models" or in my case, the current girlfriend...



OH wow good lord above,
I just now, just this second whilst typing the above, saw a muslim woman with hijab on and a baseball cap on top of that walking past my house,
it is raining, but !!!

Looks like a birds nest to me.

I pray she's okay today and is happy with her 2nd attempt at a new do?


I would imagine that she simply told todays hairdresser to just take it all off?

She had felt her hair was too all-over blonde.  She told him she would like some low lights.  He asked if she liked "chunky" highlights.  She did so she said yes.  Little did she know he meant 2 chunks :P

Stella,

Their is a lady at the place I get my hair cut who does almost nothing but harsh, chunky high/low lights. Ladys flock to her an all come out of her chair looking like that(including her own hair). To me it looks like someone made a mistake  :o

She did pay him.  She's thinking about sending him pics and asking for a refund-not sure if she will though
