The TCU game was a good one.

The Big 10 has been the worst conference in the country for years now. The Big East might under-perform during the regular season but they always step up when the bowl games come. The Big 10 elite beat up on out of conference cream puffs and then get their heads kicked in come bowl season when they have to play teams with records over .500.

The best part in all this - tcu is moving to the big east conference in a year.

I think the Ohio state/Arkansas game may be the best of all the bowl games

Smart move by them.guaranteed a bowl game if they win the Big East.

Lucky ?  C'mon  all skill    ;D.....  I was actually just happy to see the refs call a game at the end the way they should, instead of just letting it go.  Part that gave me a heartattack was them not being ready to spike the ball and kick the fg to tie without the penalty.....wtf?

That has to be a tough tightrope to walk with players, but you should just be honest with them.  At least that way, someday they will most likely understand why you did what you did.

He would be a good fit.  I think Cleveland kinda hand-cuffed him with the level of talent he had to work with.

I find myself liking college football less and less and I attribute all of it to the BCS sucking any entertainment out of the competition.

Shay Laren is a hottie, though.  :D

Watching the Stanford game, I would easily take the bet that Stanford is a 2 win team without Luck or Harbaugh. This team has nothing going for it in terms of talent. They win but nobody outside of Luck really stands out.

Boring game, too.

Wow, could you lace that post with any more homo-eroticism?  ;D

You're right, though. He was pretty impressive. Their LBs played well, too. I'd say it's almost a guarantee that Harbaugh and Luck are gone. Stanford hadn't been to a bowl since 2001 when Harbaugh got there and I suspect they'll be right back there, though. Can't blame them, though. Any player with talent is going to head to Oregon or USC.

ESPN was reporting this morning that it's unlikely he'll take the Michigan job. I'm guessing he'll jump to the NFL.

Can't blame him. Michigan just can't recruit the type of players it needs to be competitive these days. The Big 10 has earned its reputation as a league of slow powder puffs that beat up on weak non-conference competition to pad their records.

Calling Ohio State to lose tonight, also.

I'm surprised that the G&O hasn't added "Gayer than the Big 10" to its "gayer than" list

Gayer than naming divisions "Leaders" and "Legends" (oh, brother  ::)  )

C'mon man, that UNC win was complete and utter bull$hit. I'll bet money the NCAA adds a 10 second runoff rule for offensive penalties in the last part of a game that mirrors the NFL. Its all good though, UT's freshman QB will be the best in Ktown since Manning. The kid is good...

Only f-ing with you Ange, don't get your panties in a wad. But I would think even a UNC fan would admit the ending to that game in regulation was at the very least strange to say the least.

hahahaha  Sorry, just trying out a line I learned from Showstoppa (the "stud" ending".

I didn't even watch the game in question but I heard it was controversial.
