Ok I know mine suck but it easy to share your best pics of your favorite body part. How many actually have current wheels they dare to share? I mean don’t most gym goers have shit legs? Everyone wants to comment on my peg legs let’s see where they are at. I haven’t been to the gym in a week but chased a 2 year down a mountain just fine on these stilts. What are my current live odds on 405 has the money line moved yet? Does this update make it seem more plausible or less? Not going to lie the left knee is whacked can’t even flex that leg right now.

Size of legs doesn't necessarily mean strength. Mine aren't even as good as yours but I've done 405 for 9

Forget going for high weights. High reps- short rests. Sets of 15-20 and yours will blow up. You can go even higher with the reps but it takes too long.

You need heavy resistance to grow, legs are no exception.
He might however save his knees from being a cripple further down doing high reps. But the development will not be as good. Don't kid yourself.

Or he could do 405 for 15-20 reps, legs will blow up

I'm never afraid of 100-300 reps, it's not for everyone, but as a natty I gotta do what I gotta do to keep the gains coming

if you're an older bro like myself
stay away from heavy squats , heavy leg ext - I mostly use a Pendulum squat nowadays
high volume, maintain tension in the areas you want to grow - use foot placement to achieve this, have strong feet too so do some calf raises - get the blood in there AS YOU TRAIN, if you are in shit shape you can't train this way because your heart is piss poor so do some cardio - but do it consistently whatever the fck is
you can really train your legs as you get older - just don't beat the hell out of yourself where you hate leg days - a lot of guys are just out of shape and pumping blood down to the lower half is a bitch and working out literally feels bad but it prob doesn't pump blood to your dick that good either

I recently tried a suggestion from mighty wes on squats (more narrow stance, feet more straight ahead) and found that I feel the effort more in my quads and can squat more weight.
Probably this indicates a strength imbalance somewhere for me. Also still need to check if I wasn't just squatting higher. But it was nice.
Have always felt like something is off technique-wise on my squat.

I am stuck with body weight squats and light leg extensions due to bad lower back, knee pain. So my quads are not worthy of photographs. Hopefully in a couple months they will be as I work toward 100 rep body weight squats(50 and the Burundi h is brutal)and 100 rep leg extensions also brutal burning ,they won’t be big but hoping for shredded. Legs looking good Hankins I see 405 in your near future, just don’t do it to prove anything here and risk fucking up your ability to do all your activities you do now as it wouldn’t be worth it so go slow.

Great wheels with small waist good work keep it going

huge arthritic knees.
someday you should seriously consider stopping weight training and doing botany instead.
Repeated self-inflicted wounds are not synonymous with accomplishment or being an iron warrior. you missed what bodybuilding means.

Bhank your legs look a bit atrophied, almost like maybe you’ve had an injury or something in the past. I don’t think you’ve ever posted anything about it before, but did you have some kind of past injury to your knees or some kind of bone on bone situation going on?

Just saying got to keep it in perspective right knee had so much swelling it could not straighten leg. Left quad had a bakers cyst and could not straighten and was completely atrophied with a 2cm meniscus tear. When I day I could not walk I mean I could not stand. Side view is as close as I could come to flattening the leg.
Same legs July 2019 2.5 years ago they were not strong enough to weight lift I had to start very slowly now I am squatting

Dear god- another expert, lol. You can get big quads from moderate weights and high reps. Fred Hatfield could squat 1000 pounds and his legs looked like shit.

BigJ looking swole.
Has those long quad sweeps.
My legs were bigger from front squatting in the 10-15 reps range than when i could squat 600+ for 2-3 reps.
Volume is king for legs IMO.

All heavy football squats will get you is a big ass and bow legs. Look at Larry wheels

275 for 3/4 depth reps is not even close to doing 405 lbs for full-depth reps.
You’re going to need to step up your excuse game.

It doesnt matter if I put nothing on the bar. I can't mechanically biometrically squat any damn deeper than that. It is a full squat. Also my 355lbs was maybe 2 inches higher. I don't need any excuses I am doing great. Meanwhile do you even lift?

The surgeon set up a safety pin on your adamantium hinge joint that won't let your knees go past 90 degrees?

275 the way you’re squatting it is a warm up weight. You said you could walk under 405, back it out, and squat it for full reps. Grow up you childish imp, your constant lies and excuses have become tedious.

There is literally a video of me squatting 355 in this thread I said I could squat 405 I don't think 355 is that far off and I haven't failed an attempt yet. And the 275 is from a warmup set showing the depth is the same.

You didn’t squat 355, you half-repped it. You’re not even close to squatting 405 properly. Guys who squat over 400 full-depth can absolutely toy with 275. You can barely get it out and up.

I forget what the details were but didn't he say he would squat 405 after a couple weeks of serious leg training? Meanwhile we been hearing about this mythical 405 squat for months now

He said he could do it right at that moment, months ago. Then it's been a myriad of excuses and half reps since then.

There have not been any half reps denying 355 is in the ballpark is just hating. Right now I am sick and hacking up flem or you would have seen 365 or 375 by now. I also said from day one it depends how the knee holds out. Again though I did squat 355 and fuck yes it was deep enough no one else is touching their fucking heels to their ass 90 degress is the standard. I had to train my last leg day at home due to my cold I do not have a squat rack set up here. So yeah it is going to be 2 weeks before I again test the squat. But so far passes every test. I never said I would squat 405 that day I said I could and I can but yes by the time I do I am going to be able to squat much more because I am not pushing failure. I am slowly testing.
