The concept of being dragged “up” to the light was interesting. The song indicated that you belong in the “light” but nobody will “drag you up” to that light. Can someone please discuss the “pale moon” reference?

the pale moon is talking about he belongs to the night, he is evil, a dark soul, and she's glad she saw the ''sign'', she saw ''something'', something told her that he was not good, he was a good for nothing individual, possibly a dark soul, a psychopath
