THis is why I whent to bikes... You only break the rider on them.
Throw a Open pipe on and replace the vacume response carbs w/ some Mikuni radial slides w/ accelorator pumps, advance timing a bit, and sync the carbs... You got more than most riders can deal with.

You should also see the snowmobiles they are makin today...  ::)

i used to ride dirt bikes but never got into street bikes...too dangerous in houston traffic.

i'd like to buy one and ride it out in the country but not around town. i've almost been killed 20 times in my mustangs, i couldn't imagine living long if i rode a bike...lol

a couple of my friends have GSXR1000 and R1's...those things are hard to hold onto. i'd probably kill myself in 3 days if i bought one!

You need a 500cc Two stroke offroad bike out on the farm.
All these toys are getting crazy today. im not even sure if they are still making 2 strokes though  ???

Kind of troublesome, but nothing like their power in a light machine.

i think everyone is turning to 4 stroke power these days.

i have my old 1997 Honda CR250R out in the shed, needs a carb. i haven't touched it in 5 years, i wonder if it will start? ;D

Yep all the offroad bikes for trhe most part are 4 strokes now.  I do miss the scream of the 2 strokes though.  We used to go see the National Motocross at Buchanan Mich and those 125cc class bikes off the line would sound unbelievable!  40 racers flying full throttle to the first turn sounded like a swarm of nucular bumblebees.  With the new 4 strokes it just does not seem the same.

I bet he dont live long. Hope he checks out alone.
Id allways ride out in the country..

Thing about cornering superbikes is you want not the slightest  powerdelivery glich.
It needs to roll on smooth. Last thing you need lean'd over in a corner is any lag or sudden
surge.

Those Prof racers can deal w/ most anything though.

Up here in the cold fall air, you can jet the bikes extra rich and squeeze out some noticible power.
Problem is, the pavment is cold then too. They slide like sandpaper then, compared to smooth grease in the heat. If they hook back up leaned over on that cold tar, yur askin to get tossed over the high side like gymnast on
pommel horse.

I think I actually made it through the holidays without committing any huge dietary sins.  Traveling makes it even harder to eat correctly.  Then, factor in virtually no training while out of town and it becomes an ideal situation to put on weight.

Happy new year.

How did that work out for you?

Shit I had a champagne induced migraine & hide to limp through my workout (took about 90 minutes to do triceps & back - 15 sets of each). I did do an hour of cardio afterward though. Yes, I spent 2.5 hours at the gym...what else was I going to do? My wife was gone for the night.

I made it through but i felt like crap!...lol

i thought i would be fine because i ate before i went to bed and then slept for 8 hours.

on the 4th set of front squats i started feeling sick but i still did all 5 sets and them some lunges and light hamstrings. finished off with calves and then came home, ate and went back to bed early.

this reminded me why i never drink before leg day!!!

I know what you mean. I slept for 8.5 hours & then took an 1.5 hour nap & still my head hurt. I even broke out the Darvocet & Excedrin but nothing made a dent in it. At least it wasn't one of those migraines that make me throw up & shit. It was just a blinding pain.

Exactly why i'm not into it much anymore.

Every time i would upgrade something, i would have something else to upgrade or i would break something...lol

Hobby is way to freakin expensive, at least bodybuilding...the only thing you will break is yourself...and then again the pain is worth it anyways.

I actually used to enjoy drinking the day before...well if it was beer. Lots more calories to burn and more energy for some reason.

Man i really like sake bombs, i've been drinking them for years!

the thing is i never drink so 8 sake bombs is A LOT for me and i was drunk! ;D

i used to drink like a fish but now i'm lucky if i drink once a month, i have no tolerence anymore, i can get drunk off a 6 pack.

Beer doesn't give me a bad hangover, so i'm usually ok to train the day after i drink beer.

What's a Saki Bomb? Is that like an Irish Car Bomb or Boilermaker?

First you have a Japanese beer, I prefer Asahi

Then you take a shot of Sake, drop it in the beer and guzzle away!

Traditional method is to balance the shot glass on chop sticks, on top of the beer, hit the table to drop in. We used to go every Sat. and have races. Good times!

Warning: Only two full rounds is advised. Please do not try this at home  :D
