Don't you think that an Athlete's Rep should be an actively competing athlete, that way he would incentivized actually improve conditions? Bob doesnt compete, is not a sought after magazine subject, and is way to "friendly" with Jim Manion.
1.) Bob does compete
2.) Bob writes an article for a BB'ing magazine
3.) Being friendly with the boss will get more done then if he hates your guts.

You're right, these pros arent the sharpest knives in the drawer. I guess, by virtue of the fact that he's functionally literate, Bob got the rep job.
That is true. But also Bob was willing to do what it took and say what should be said to make the IFBB look good. In return he got his pro win. Simple to see that. Finishing Jeffers so far down in the lineup made it impossible to say he was given the show over Jeffers.

i like jeffers look but and maybe he should have placed in the top five but to say he should have beaten Chick is just silly....Jeffers arms are probably no more then 17 inch(no lie) and you have to show up atleast under 6%...which when you look at jefers from the back, he is exposed....Good posing routine though but Chick also can throw down the posing...

his arms aren't Coleman-esque, but I doubt only 17... they just don't genetically have that peak that pops in back poses.

You know whats funny is Lee just made more from the PDI than Chic has with the IFBB. Monster owning of Chic.

What can Bob do when the top 4 or 5 bodybuilders won't look out for the rest of their fellow IFBB'ers? Unions work best when labor is united, but you'll never see that in pro bodybuilding. IMO, Bob is doing the best he can, given that most of these guys only look out for number 1.
