You don't beat big tech by segregating people into different social media networks. One for lefties and one for the right.

It's going to take a lot more than that because big tech is working so closely with the government.

Correct, it actually helps them and protects them. Nobody notices that they keep a 50/50 split in people by any means necessary. They can't have a viral movement against the elite types.

So because it's Trump this may not be correct. His fame and very very large number of broken glass followers could be enough to overcome the massive startup problems of any new social network. They have enough for a critical mass. Gab, Parler, etc did not and are also built on old networks that can be shutdown.

Actually you do beat them by disengaging with their institutions. Fighting for a stake in (((institutions))) like big tech is just validating their claim as gatekeepers of public discourse. Once they are merely echo chambers for the far-left they will become impotent.

Best case scenario it becomes popular and somehow can't be shutdown. Great.

However, it's still only going to be right leaning people on there. They will finally have a place online to voice their opinions..........to each other. Which will mean fuckall. They will continue to be marginalized and ostracized from the mainstream culture which is controlled by the left.

Iphone banned it. Then when they let it came back it was glitchy. Google also tried to destroy it putting a label on it saying Trump followers use it who are conspiracy theorists, far right extremists and antiemetic. Call a spade a spade. The owners and CEO's of Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Wiki and youtube go out of their way to support the Democrat party.
