Thanks!

I know that Joe DeFranco and many other strength & performance coaches have their athletes use rollers and perform other similar myofascial work before training.

Surprisingly, I was listening to a podcast with Charles Poliquin this week, and he claims to be against using foam rollers because it can actually lead to increased formation of scar tissue.

All best done once tissues are warm.

I have been way too rough on my body over the years...doubt I would be able to train seriously without defrancos advice at this point.

The 80lb Goruck sandbag is only $55 right now (down from 95) and you get 50% off any 2016 event when you spend $50(approx. $100 savings).....you should buy in and sign up for a GR light.....

Shoulders.

After two months of high-rep work, I decided to load up the bar for some seated militaries and pleasantly surprised myself.

Now that everything is feeling almost 95-100% again, I think I will go back to incorporating low, moderate, and high rep work in each session. For hypertrophy, it's what's always worked best for me.
