Ronny Jackson, former White House doctor, predicts Biden will resign

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), the controversial former White House physician, said on Thursday that he believed President Biden would resign because of his limited cognitive abilities.
During an episode of Fox’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity criticized responses Biden gave during a CNN town hall the day before, calling some “completely incomprehensible.”
In an interview with Jackson, Hannity said that Biden would not perform well on a cognitive test, repeating a claim circulated among Republicans that the president's health is in decline.
“Donald Trump took a cognitive test. He got 30 out of 30 right. I hear it's a very difficult test. I do not think Joe Biden would do well on that test. Is that a fair assessment based on what I'm observing?” Hannity asked Jackson.
“Absolutely, Sean, and I've been saying this from the very beginning. I've been saying that something's going on here. I was saying this when he was candidate Joe Biden, and I've been saying that it's only going to get worse, and guess what. We're watching that happen right before our eyes right now,” Jackson said.
“There's something seriously going on with this man right now, and, you know, I think that he's either going to resign, they're going to convince him to resign from office at some point in the near future for medical issues or they're going to have to use the 25th Amendment to get rid of this man right now,” Jackson later added.
Jackson also tweeted a video of Biden answering a reporter’s question, saying, “He’s completely LOST it! Needs a cognitive exam NOW!”
Jackson, who was the White House physician for former Presidents Trump and Obama, circulated a letter in June calling on Biden to take a cognitive test to prove he was mentally fit to perform his duties as president, which was signed by more than a dozen Republicans.
However, Jackson has been steeped in controversy over comments he has made regarding Trump’s health. During a White House briefing in 2018, he called Trump’s diet “excellent” even though Trump regularly ate fast food and did not exercise.
White House officials said in May that Biden was scheduled to take an annual physical exam “later this year” and said they would make the results publicly available.

White House Still Unclear When Joe Biden Will Get a Physical

The White House remains elusive about the timing of a physical exam for President Joe Biden, as more Americans question his physical and mental health.
The White House previously said last May Biden would get a physical before the end of the year and in October, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said it would be “soon.”
Biden will turn 79 on November 20.
Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday she had no update about an upcoming physical for the president.
“I don’t have anything for you,” she said, when asked by reporters for an update during the daily briefing.
She also could not confirm that the physical would happen before the end of the year.
“That is going to happen and once it does we will be transparent about it,” she said, adding, “We will make sure to get this done and share it with all of you when it happens.”
Biden’s last physical health checkup that included information shared with the public was in December 2019, when he was 77.
Since becoming president, Biden has publicly demonstrated signs of fatigue as his political opponents continue questioning his cognitive and mental abilities.
A recent Rasmussen poll showed that 58 percent of voters believe that Joe Biden is not “physically and mentally” up to the job of being president of the United States.
After the president fell three times on the stairs of Air Force One in March, the White House reassured Americans the president was “just fine” and “doing 100 percent.”
In May, Psaki also defended the president’s physical health during the daily press briefing.
“I can tell you, having traveled with him a fair amount, sometimes he’s hard to keep up with,” she said.

Any reasonable person who spends time listening to Biden struggle to put two coherent sentences together can see that he has suffered a severe cognitive decline. If we had real journalists they would be all over the White House over the president's failure to take a cognitive exam.

Democrats are joining with Republicans worried about President Joe Biden’s mental capacity in calling for a brain test of the chief executive.
The latest Rasmussen Reports survey on the issue said that 43% of Democrats want Biden to take a cognitive test similar to the one former President Donald Trump took and passed in office. Some 47% of Democrats do not feel it’s necessary.
While 73% of Democrats believe that Biden is up to the job, 39% have seen a “mental decline” in the president since he took office.
Overall, the numbers in the new survey revealed continued national concern about Biden, the nation’s oldest president, especially among independent voters who helped to carry Biden to victory over Trump in 2020.
Altogether, 66% of voters want Biden tested, 56% are not confident he’s up for the job, and 63% have seen a mental decline and forgetfulness in Biden.
More GOP lawmakers last week urged Biden to take a cognitive test.
The survey follows another from Rasmussen in which voters declared Biden as one of the worst presidents.

Biden has speculated that his son's cancer was related to burn pits in Iraq with no evidence. But he has repeatedly said that his son died in Iraq. It's very sad that he lost one son to brain cancer and the living one is an addict, but his mental decline is obvious and disqualifies him from holding office.

EXCLUSIVE — Ex-President Barack Obama’s longtime former doctor warned that President Joe Biden’s weeks-delayed physical evaluation is likely to pitch the president’s health in the rosiest terms as he barrels toward an expected reelection announcement.
Dr. David Scheiner, who was Obama’s personal physician for more than two decades before he became president, said that while Biden has performed above expectations since entering office, the president’s age remains a major health concern. At 80, Biden is the oldest person to ever serve as president.
But Scheiner said the White House was unlikely to disclose much new information.
“You’re not going to learn anything. They sugarcoat these things,” Scheiner told the Washington Examiner, explaining that the president’s expected reelection campaign adds weight to the calls for transparency over the president’s health.
“By the time he completes [a second term], he’ll be 86 years old; I don’t care if he’s in perfect health now,” said Scheiner. “I don’t care if he’s in perfect health now — which, I can’t believe he’s in perfect health. He’s had too many things in his past history.
He added, “It worries me that he is aging. If I look at him, he’s not a young 80.”
Scheiner explained that Biden’s gait, which the president’s physician described in 2021 as “perceptibly stiffer and less fluid” than one year earlier, could be a leading indicator of the overall state of his health.
“The gait is not an insignificant factor,” he said, adding that it lends “a peek into the whole physical, mental capability of a person.”
Biden’s annual physical examination is set for Feb. 16, more than two weeks after the White House initially promised after slipping from 2022 into the new year. The White House had attributed the delay to Biden’s travel schedule.
Part of the exam was completed last year, Biden told reporters over Thanksgiving.
The delay has lent ammunition for Biden’s political opponents questioning the president’s ability to lead the country ahead of an expected reelection bid. Biden turned 80 in November and would be 86 at the end of a second term in office.
Scheiner said the evaluation should include a neurocognitive exam or even an MRI but called this an unlikely prospect given the potential to expose new frailties.
“The one thing they don’t check is a careful examination of the mind,” he said. “I don’t think any candidate wants it. They’re afraid they might find something.”
He added, “Biden had an aneurysm repaired. When you do work on the brain, there’s always a little damage done. He’s had that atrial fibrillation — that can sometimes throw off small strokes. They’re leaving a whole area of concern in my mind.”
Biden’s press secretary said the president’s longtime physician would issue a public memo assessing his health. “We want to be transparent, want to make sure you have the information,” Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Tuesday.
Biden’s last physical was completed in November 2021, when the president’s physician wrote that he “remains fit for duty, and fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations.”
Still, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s physician since he was vice president, noted two areas of “observation”: the president’s “increasing frequency and severity of ‘throat clearing’ and coughing during speaking engagements” and a gait “perceptibly stiffer and less fluid than it was a year or so ago.”
During Biden’s COVID-19 case last year, the White House declined to make O’Connor available to reporters, adding to questions about its transparency regarding the president’s health.
Yet Democrats who had once voiced unease about Biden’s age have quieted as the president lays the groundwork for a likely reelection campaign in 2024. Many questioned the transparency of physical exam details under former President Donald Trump, whose physician for part of his term is now a Republican member of Congress.
Biden has not announced a bid for a second term but is expected to do so sometime this spring.
Biden’s former chief of staff, Ron Klain, downplayed concerns about Biden’s age, arguing that voters should instead look at how the president has handled major crises since taking office.
“Judge his record. Look at what he’s put together. With that age comes a lot of experience and a lot of wisdom,” Klain told the New Yorker in an exit interview.

At 80 years old, President Joe Biden is “vigorous” and “fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency,” according to his physician.
On Thursday, Dr. Kevin O’Connor released details from the president’s physical examination and deemed him “healthy.”
But some medical experts pointed out the exam did not include details about his mental status.
Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, an emergency medical professional and a Fox News contributor, told Fox News Digitial she would like to see the results of a “mini mental status exam.”
“How did he do on that? What was his score? I would like to know,” she said, adding, “Physical, mental, emotional health are all as equally important.”
Nesheiwat continued, “The job of the presidency is a very demanding, stressful job. We must ensure our leader is physically, mentally, and emotionally capable, especially when it comes to decisions regarding life and death and the overall health, safety, and well-being of our nation.”
“We need a president who is sharp, shrewd, who has the cognitive stamina and the mental acumen to lead our great country,” she added.
In the report detailing the results from Biden’s physical, O’Connor noted there were no signs consistent with a stroke, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson’s disease. He did mention the president has a “stiff gait” and was given custom orthotics.
Dr. Marc Siegel, a professor of medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, appeared on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and suggested the report was “more significant for what it leaves out than what it actually tells us.”
He suggested doctors should have given the president an MRI to determine the cause of Biden’s “stiff gait.” Additionally, he asked about a cognitive test.
“We have a cognitive error a day at least from this president who the other day said 20,000 pounds of fentanyl was enough to kill 1,000 people, how about 4 billion people,” Siegel went on. “Or he calls Kamala Harris the president, or he forgets a congressperson’s name, or one that has died [he] thinks is in the audience.”
Siegel suggested a cognitive test might be warranted because a stiff gait “is sometimes a sign of a cognitive problems.”
Meanwhile, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), a White House physician who worked for former President Barack Obama and former President Donald Trump, tweeted, “We learned NOTHING from Biden’s physical exam. How bad is his cognitive issue? Is he on ANY drugs to treat his mental decline? This exam was a JOKE. COVER UP!!”
Biden’s physical comes as he has said he intends to run for reelection but has not yet shared his official decision. He would be 86 at the end of his second term.

Surprisingly enough, I am one of those people and I am almost as old as he is. Don't know about his health but I am in excellent health and yet in my opinion I am too old to be the U.S. President. I also think Trump is too old for the job.
It is very telling that neither the Republican, Democrat nor Independent parties are able to put forth a viable Presidential candidate. Once again, we may be faced with two poor choices at election time.

The first video (which as been played to death), happened more than two years ago. These are steep stairs. Perhaps it would be better to forego the photo op for a safer boarding method like most of use. Air Force One has built-in boarding stairs. Boarding stairs as opposed to safe methods are used because they present a good photo op.
Pro cyclists frequently fall off bicycles. Bicycling falls are not age related. Common causes of cycling-related injuries include incorrect riding postures and demanding too much of your body. You are much more likely to hurt yourself by falling off your bike or hitting a stationary object. When I was in my 20's through my mid 40's I often commuted to work on my bicycle. Although I didn't have a lot of falls, I had a few and I was a damn good cyclist.

The White House said the president tripped over a sandbag and that he was not injured by the fall.

The momentum was so great that my eyeglasses and one hearing aid ended up in the middle of the street. Now I am in constant fear of falling. I am a little more than a year younger than Biden.
Yesterday I attended the burial of one of my best friends, who was 82 years old. Sitting beside his widow, watching a casket containing my very good friend’s body lowered into the ground was very emotional and a first for me. I am not one to cry, but I did yesterday.
I have made it clear on Getbig that I believe we need a younger candidate for President. Both Biden and Trump are too old for the job IMO. My hope is that we don’t have to choose between the two of them in November 2024.

Thanks for the excellent advice. I will likely start with walking on the treadmill at the gym to help me regain the confidence I lost from that fall. I still maintain most of the rock wall landscape, just not from the top which I leave for the gardener.

Yes, Joe Biden is the 46th President of the United States and enjoys all the benefits of the office, including travel on Air Force One and Secret Service protection. He assumed the office after a controversial and contested election employing a “basement” campaign strategy with few events and media interviews.
Since his inauguration, his mental and physical condition has seriously deteriorated. With his declining health, it is inconceivable that Joe Biden can serve as President until he is 86 years old. However, when asked about his age and the concerns of Americans, Biden usually says “watch me.”
Yes, we are watching and that is why millions of Americans are horrified about a physically weakened and mentally incompetent President continuing in the most important office in the world.
As noted by former White House Physician and U.S. Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX), Biden is “not fit mentally or physically to be our President, and it’s a bad situation for us.” As Jackson explained, “his physical decline is now starting to highlight the cognitive decline that we’ve been watching for so long now…It’s a package that just doesn’t sell around the world, and it’s becoming a national security issue for us.”
Jackson is not alone; all Americans can clearly see there is something wrong with Biden. A recent NBC News poll showed that an astounding 68% of all voters “have concerns about Biden having the necessary mental and physical health” to serve as President of the United States. Among all poll respondents, 55% attest that their concerns about Biden’s condition are “major.”
The evidence of his problems is plain for every American to see. Biden often seems lost after finishing speeches and needs help exiting the stage. In a recent MSNBC interview, he bizarrely walked away before the host could end the segment.
He recently suffered a major fall on stage at the Air Force Academy commencement ceremonies. Americans have also seen him fall off his bike and trip while walking up the stairs of Air Force One. This may be why he recently started using a less intimidating set of stairs to exit the aircraft.
His speaking gaffes are too numerous to mention. He commits errors in practically every interview and speech he delivers. In the last week, he confused Iraq for Ukraine several times.
His stories about his background and family life are so preposterous that Americans know he is lying. Whether Biden believes these whoppers or not is a legitimate question since he has a long history of telling outright lies and committing plagiarism.
However, occasionally, the truth will emerge, and Biden will make a curious comment. For example, he will claim that he cannot answer questions or mention something because he is worried about being scolded by a mysterious individual or group.
At a recent speech to the League of Conservation Voters, Biden talked about building a “railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean” Of course, this was another misstatement for it referred to building a railroad across the continent of Africa. Biden concluded his remarks by claiming, “I could go on, but I'm not. I'm going off script. I'm going to get in trouble.”
No wonder Biden’s staff does not want him going “off script.” When he does, the results can be ugly. Outside the White House while briefing talking with reporters, before leaving on Marine One, Biden screamed “No” when asked about his involvement in his son’s shady business deals.

Who are the “diabolical figures” who control Joe Biden? One of the most influential is the First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden. She is the one who initially vouched for his health as a 2020 presidential candidate. She is the one who continually whispers in his ear what to say and guides him off stage and through crowds at events. She must be giving him some type of care when the cameras are off. Without her approval, Biden would be dismissed as unfit for the presidency, so her role is huge.
On the political side, one figure looms large, Biden’s former boss, Barack Obama. On Tuesday, Obama and Biden had lunch at the White House. At a fundraiser in New York, Biden joked that when he hears Hail to the Chief, he looks around for Obama. At the same event, he admitted that Obama had been “helping out a lot.”
Obama had his key aide, Susan Rice, ensconced in a key White House position for the first two years of the Biden presidency. As he attempts to run for re-election, Biden will be relying even more on Obama.
Unlike Biden, Obama is still physically and mentally active. He is still incredibly involved in political issues and wants to see the far-left agenda implemented. He knows that if Donald Trump is elected again as President, his legacy will be further destroyed.
In a December 2020 CBS interview, Obama revealed his preference for a “third term” in which he would be in control in his “basement,” but his lackey would wear an “earpiece” and “deliver the lines” written by Obama.
Unfortunately for Obama, Biden cannot “deliver the lines” very well, but he sure can follow orders.

Currently we are having 90° F + weather. It was 98° F today. There is irrigation everywhere on the property, thank goodness. The heat is expected to continue for at least a week. Just today, I adjusted the system control box, so everything gets watered everyday was set for every other day.
When I moved to Portland in the 60's we were lucky to reach 80°F in the summer. The last couple of years it has gotten so hot that it literally fried some trees, shrubs, and other plants. Fortunately, summer hot weather is less than half the year. Otherwise, the water bill would break me.

The panel discussed Biden's dismal polling, indicating that most Americans do not want him to run for reelection in 2024.
A congressional Democrat told NBC News that Democrats need to be more responsive to concerns about President Biden's age as aides continue to make adjustments in an effort to avoid "embarrassing and dangerous" incidents.
"The Democratic Party needs to be responsive to what people are saying about Biden and their concerns that they have with his age," the congressional Democrat, who remained anonymous, told the outlet. "The number of text messages that I got after the president fell … I mean, my phone was blowing up. People are like, ‘Oh, this is so bad.’"
After the president tripped at the Air Force Academy's recent graduation ceremony, some of Biden's aides reportedly got together to discuss how to make sure it "never happens again," according to NBC.
NBC News reported that voters were watching Biden and were seeing "hardening impressions that it’s time for him to step aside."
A former Western diplomat, who remained anonymous, told the outlet that the president is "quite frail."
"Physically, he’s quite frail, and he falls off his bicycle or whatever," the diplomat told NBC. "He doesn’t have the stamina levels of an Obama or a younger president. People worry about his physical frailty and running from age 82 to 86."
"That is really old by European standards, really, really old. We don’t have anyone that age," the diplomat said.
Biden has been seen using the lower staircase to board Air Force One, Politico reported on Wednesday.
NBC's report noted the president was also using an "extra-large font" on his teleprompter during speeches and "note cards to remind him of the points he wants to make in meetings."
When pressed on his age, the president has told reporters and voters to "watch" him.
He has also made the argument that his age is a benefit, suggesting that he knows more than most people.
"I know more than the vast majority of people. I’m more experienced than anybody who has ever run for the office, and I think I've proven myself to be honorable as well as also effective," he said during an interview with MSNBC.
After the president fell at the Air Force Academy graduation, Biden's advisers let out a "collective groan," the outlet reported.
"It happened in seconds," a Biden aide reportedly told the outlet. "But it’s going to be in front of us for months and maybe years."

I agree for the most part. We do a terrible job of picking our political leaders. Take the Congressman who thought putting too much military equipment on Guam would cause the island to tip over. That's something you would expect from a comedy skit.
I also have problems with Trump having to respond to every single actual or perceived insult like a little kid. But at least with him, his actual decisions and accomplishments on domestic and foreign policy and with our military were stellar.
Even Obama, the despicable liar that he was (is), was at least smart.
But President Biden? He combines dishonesty, disastrous policy, and denseness with the physical and mental abilities of a nursing home resident. Plus he is directly responsible for the deaths of 13 service members.

President Biden was apparently caught once again using a cheat sheet of reporters after a picture of him holding a note card with their images went viral.
During his joint press conference with Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Wednesday, the leaders took questions from four reporters, two from each of their respective countries. Nearly 24 hours later, an image from the press conference began circulating online that appeared to show the president carrying a note card with the reporters’ names and faces.
The names on the list included PBS correspondent Laura Barrón-López, USA Today White House correspondent Joey Garrison, Australia’s Channel 10 Network Political Editor Ashleigh Raper and The Australian’s Jeff Chambers. All four were the reporters who asked questions at the event.
Barrón-López had a notable exchange with Biden when he rejected the premise of her question about the implications of the Palestinian death toll, saying he has "no confidence" the numbers from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry are truthful.

President Biden was apparently caught once again using a cheat sheet of reporters after a picture of him holding a note card with their images went viral.
During his joint press conference with Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Wednesday, the leaders took questions from four reporters, two from each of their respective countries. Nearly 24 hours later, an image from the press conference began circulating online that appeared to show the president carrying a note card with the reporters’ names and faces.
The names on the list included PBS correspondent Laura Barrón-López, USA Today White House correspondent Joey Garrison, Australia’s Channel 10 Network Political Editor Ashleigh Raper and The Australian’s Jeff Chambers. All four were the reporters who asked questions at the event.
Barrón-López had a notable exchange with Biden when he rejected the premise of her question about the implications of the Palestinian death toll, saying he has "no confidence" the numbers from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry are truthful.

I don't disagree. If this were the only consideration, Trump seems 'more alive' than Biden. I have seen this when comparing their physical mobility. Biden often looks unsteady on his feet. Also, Biden sometimes pauses when he speaks, which could be a sign of diminished cognitive function. But since he is a known stutterer, this also could be the reason Biden pauses when speaking. I have a friend who stutters. Pausing is one way he tries to keep it under control.
Being almost an octogenarian myself, I am aware of how our sense of balance can be negatively affected as we age. Although I have only had one serious fall, that fall made me fearful of this happening again. This affects how surefooted I feel. This morning I watched Biden's report on the situation in Gaza and Israel concerning the release of hostages. I agree with a lot of this. I wish we had two different candidates, but if it's the same, I have to go trump.
His "loose cannon" style (I don't particularly care for it, but it has it's moments), doesn't lead to policy disasters. So much of what he did turned out to be correct - getting rid of NAFTA, Abraham accords, rolling back regulations, the border wall, making cruelty to animals a federal offense, etc...So if he goes head to head with Biden, it's an easy call for me. "We cannot afford to have this man in office for the remainder of this term and another four years after that. He's already put us at a great risk."

"This man has been given every opportunity to do something about this," he said. "He has continued to bury his head in the sand and act like there's not a problem. He's a puppet of the Biden administration … he is not acting in this country's best interest."
Meanwhile, if reelected, Trump will "send people back and remove all of the incentives that the Biden administration's put in place to bring these people here," said Jackson. "That's a big part of what's going on here. The Biden administration not only opened the border up but they got rid of some of the great policies we had, like remain in Mexico that President Trump put in place."
Biden, meanwhile, could stop what is happening "overnight if he wanted to," said Jackson.
"He could get tough with the Mexican president and with the Mexican government," he said. "He is absolutely ignoring the southern border and acting like it doesn't exist. And where's Kamala Harris? I have been on Medicare since I was 66 years old. I can attest to the fact that a cognitive impairment check is a required element of Medicare's annual wellness visit. I will also say the test my doctor gives me doesn't seem very thorough. The medical assistant gives me three words to remember early in the exam and later asks me to repeat them. Usually, I only remember two of the three which the doctor does not seem concerned about. Remembering names and dates has always been an issue. Ask me the address of everywhere I have lived since I was a kid and I remember. Must be some weird mental quirk. Not that I much care.

Unlike some nonprofessional folks who like to believe they are proficient in diagnosing the decline in cognitive, neurological, and physical health of septuagenarians and octogenarians, particularly these of Trump and Biden, I acknowledge that my observations are those of a layman as well as being based on personal comparatives. Being old is no laughing matter although we seniors sometimes do and say some hysterical things.

Sure, Old Joe Biden is a liar, a practiced and accomplished liar who has told countless whoppers throughout his entire half-century (and counting) of fattening at the public trough. Still, the sheer audacity of his lies can leave his hearers gasping for breath at how completely bereft he appears to be of an ordinary human conscience. On Friday, the man who thinks he’s president demonstrated that he also seems to think he is in a world not only without the Internet, but without newspapers or human beings with memories.
Fox News made the momentous announcement: Old Joe “said he does not believe the border is secure, adding that has been his stance for the past 10 years as he has continued to ask for money.”
Wait, what? Biden has been calling attention to the crisis at the border for ten years? In what universe? But that’s really what he said. It all happened when Fox’s White House correspondent, Jacqui Heinrich, asked the brazen kleptocrat about the House effort to impeach one of Biden’s chief henchmen, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Fox noted with impressive understatement that the Dementia-Patient-In-Chief “responded with a confused look.”
Undeterred, Henrich then asked Biden if he thought that the border was secure. This was an invitation for the corrupt old liar to echo his man Mayorkas himself, who got off a pretty sizable lie of his own in July 2022 when he said: “Look, the border is secure. We are working to make the border more secure. That has been a historic challenge.”
Unexpectedly, however, Old Joe broke from his own regime’s line and answered: “No, it’s not.” As if that weren’t enough, he started piling it on, adding: “I haven’t believed it for the last 10 years. And I’ve said it for the last 10 years…give me the money.”
Yes, that’s right. This is the man who proudly halted the construction of Trump’s border wall and oversaw an influx of illegal migrants into this country that is unprecedented in scope, and now he is posing as the Cassandra who has been warning us about the crisis at the border for ten years, which would take us back to 2014.
Let’s see. Who was president of the United States in 2014? If Biden had his way, we wouldn’t quite be able to remember, but I believe it was a fellow who was fairly close to Old Joe. If my memory serves me well, Biden himself may have been involved in that administration.
Of course, Biden didn’t mean it was Obama’s fault. He appears to have been blaming those dastardly Republicans who have apparently spent a decade rejecting his requests for funding to secure the border. When Henrich asked him if his own disastrous regime’s policies had any share in the blame for the catastrophe at the border, he responded: “No, I’ve…I’ve asked for thousands more, of everything – from judges to…anyway.” He asked for money from judges? Sure, Joe. Have another ice cream cone.
Fox injected a note of reality into this surreal scene by noting that “sources with U.S. Customs and Border Protection told Fox News Digital that migrant encounters hit a staggering 300,000 incidents in December 2023, reaching a level though unimaginable just years ago. It is the highest total for a single month ever recorded and also the first time migrant encounters have exceeded 300,000.”
Now, is this because “judges,” no doubt appointed by Bad Orange Man, wouldn’t give Old Joe the funding he urgently requested for border security? No, it’s because the Biden regime clearly wanted the border open, and migrants to flood into the country. As Matt Margolis pointed out Sunday, “The White House has repeatedly sought to blame Republicans for the crisis that they don’t official recognize as a crisis, but confidential documents obtained by the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) have pulled the curtain back on the border crisis, revealing that the historic influx of illegal immigrants is entirely by design.”
For socialist internationalists, the open border has no downside. Large numbers of people who don’t speak English will likely become dependents on the state, providing a ready excuse for ever higher taxes. Criminal migrants will help justify the left’s increasing authoritarianism. Meanwhile, the migrants will dilute the national character and lessen the percentage of people who think this should remain a free republic in which loyal dissent is a cherished aspect of freedom.
Old Joe opened the border. It’s his crisis. He will keep lying, but while the facts are still allowed to be stated, there they are.

No, I do not recall the media claiming he had Alzheimer's/dementia while still in office. As you point out, a lot can change health-wise in 5 years when you’re old (I know, I am old ;) ). The difference between these two speeches is a clear indication of this, at least for Reagan.

Lastly, I suspect Trump is physically unwell or at least a good candidate for a major setback which takes him out of the running. This is not so far-fetched because stress is known to cause major physical health issues, such as a stroke or heart failure, (not that I wish this on him or anyone for that matter).

Watching Biden's response to the Hur Special Counsel report was enormously disturbing to me. I wasn't thinking about the exposure of classified documents or the maddening double standard at play in giving Biden a pass. The one thing that ran through my mind all during that speech was one unthinkable question: This man has his finger on the nuclear trigger?
At a time when Russian President Vladimir Putin speaks so casually about using nuclear weapons in Ukraine, the thought of Joe Biden having to make a decision about our nuclear deterrent should give every American who isn't a Democratic Party partisan hack a feeling of dread.
This isn't hyperbole. It's not the kind of gross exaggeration that both sides use in a presidential campaign. This is real. In my opinion, it's a threat to the survival of the planet that makes climate change look like a walk in the park.
Why worry about a warming planet 100 years from now when Biden could blow it all up tomorrow?
I'm making an effort to avoid the kind of generalizations we read when hearing "Biden is too old" to be president. People age at different speeds, as I can attest, as a recently-turned 70-year-old. While the president isn't afflicted with Alzheimer's disease as far as we know, any rational observer can see that his mental faculties are in decline. And watching that press conference should fill all of us with dread.

Special counsel Robert Hur concluded that his investigation “uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified information after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen.”

By the weekend, the Cabinet should be convened and the 25th amendment should be invoked. President Biden can no longer be the Commander-in-Chief. And as horrifying as it may be to imagine Vice President Kamala Harris in the Oval Office, at least she hasn’t been seen drooling in the porridge while wandering aimlessly on stage.

I know some of you think yesterday's devastating report is part of a canny Democratic plot to make him step down before the 2024 election. I don't. I think he's in trouble. And so are the Democrats.

The slips are minor at first. The name of a friend forgotten, a birthday missed. An unsteady step. Then the problems become bigger and harder to miss. Memory gaps turn into sinkholes, missed steps into falls.
Eventually, the painful reality must be faced: Alzheimer’s, dementia, senility. By whatever name, the affliction is the wastage of time, progressive and devastating.
But if we - the onlookers, the outsiders - can hardly accept the slow erasure of memory and self, freedom and personhood, how difficult must it be for the sufferer?
Especially if that sufferer has spent his life in a race to become the world’s most powerful person - and has finally reached his goal. Only to have a federal prosecutor label him, in words that will haunt him and the country for as long as he is president, a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

I’m not a doctor (though I am sometimes accused to pretending to be one). I wouldn’t presume to diagnose Biden. But I know this. We all know this. He is not well. He is 81, and not a young 81, whatever that means. In 2022, he fell off a bike; do you remember more casual Biden bike rides since? I don’t. Try to imagine him skiing. Or golfing.
Try to imagine him walking more than a few hundred feet.
Biden wanders as often as he walks. He shakes hands with the air. His voice is reedy and slow. He has trouble finding words. On Sunday, he reminisced about a meeting he’d had recently with Francois Mitterrand, the French president. Mitterrand has been dead since 1996.
Yesterday, I posted a picture of Biden from the summer of 2010. He looms over Michael Bloomberg. Like him or not, he looks vigorous.

The oldest person I’ve known was Gisa Dollinger, who escaped Austria in December 1938, just before the Nazis closed the borders to Jews forever. She was born in 1902, and already over 100 when we met. She lived down the hall in my East Village apartment building. (Rent stabilization is occasionally charming.)
She was going deaf but had all her faculties. She held on to them until she died in 2014, at the ripe age of 111. I went over to her apartment a couple of times a year to say hello and give her my novels (which, I swear, she read using a magnifying glass).
And she always said the same thing about getting old: Age is no bargain. Better to be alive, for sure, but to lose a little bit more of yourself every day was no fun. Especially since she couldn’t knew each piece was gone for good, once it vanished.
But Gisa Dollinger held on to her mind; she could see what was happening to her, even if she didn’t like it. She knew the bargain she’d made.
Does Joe Biden? Much less that he is making it not only for himself but 330 million Americans.

Some of you believe the special counsel’s report is part of a Democratic plot to force Biden out before the election, so the Democrats can nominate a stronger candidate in his place.
I don’t think so. Maybe Biden will have to go. But the Democratic Party would rather he didn’t. Perhaps replacing him would have been viable a year ago. But the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, and the Democrats did much better than either side expected in the midterms. Whatever pressure Biden faced to make way evaporated.
As a result, the Democrats do not have an obvious heir lined up.
Kamala Harris has the strongest institutional claim to the job, but she is barely able to function as vice-president. Yet if the Democrats dump a black woman who should be next in line, they will face enormous howls from their base. (Especially if they replace her with Gavin Newsom, the whitest man alive.)
If Biden goes, the knife fight that follows will be vicious - both among the people looking to replace him and with between the party’s progressive and moderate wings.
His team presumably figured that they could hide him, just as they’d hidden him in 2020. And that the election would turn into a referendum on Donald Trump, just as the 2020 election had been.
But even before the special counsel’s report, the cracks in that strategy were showing. Biden could barely appear in public without making an obvious gaffe.
Now Hur’s report has torn that plan to shreds.
Diminished faculties in advancing age. Unable to remember when his son died, or when he served as vice-president.
Biden can’t hide anymore. If he wants a second term, he will have to prove to his country and the world that those devastating words are not true and that he is fit to serve.
If in fact he is.

The New York Times has published an opinion piece calling for Joe Biden to step aside and allow another Democrat to run in 2024. The article by Ross Douthat was titled “The Question Is Not If Biden Should Step Aside. It’s How.”
Douthat began by pointing to the special counsel report released Thursday that found Biden had mishandled classified documents, but should not be charged, at least in part, because of his failing memory.
The report referred to him as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and “significant limitations.”
“Joe Biden should not be running for re-election,” Douthat’s article began. “That much was obvious well before the special prosecutor’s comments on the president’s memory lapses inspired a burst of age-related angst. And Democrats who are furious at the prosecutor have to sense that it will become only more obvious as we move deeper into an actual campaign.”
The writer explained that he does not necessarily believe that Biden is currently unfit for the presidency, but that he may not be during a second term.
“Saying that things have worked OK throughout this stage of Biden’s decline, though, is very different from betting that they can continue working out OK for almost five long further years,” the article continued. “And saying that Biden is capable of occupying the presidency for the next 11 months is quite different from saying that he’s capable of spending those months effectively campaigning for the right to occupy it again.”
The article suggested that Biden should continue to campaign “until August and the convention, when he would shock the world by announcing his withdrawal from the race, decline to issue any endorsement, and invite the convention delegates to choose his replacement.”
Biden is currently 81 years old. He would be 82 by the time that he took the oath for a second term.

Trump showed me in the first debate (where he was expected to wipe him out) that his style can cause him to miss on even the easiest of softball questions, and that he panders to his base instead of trying to win over independents.
They'll shoot up the current pres full of every drug and stimulant he can handle, and let Trump act like a fool.
If Trump figures out that he needs to come in measured and professional, to win over those who liked his policy, but not all the shit that comes with it, then it will be different.

This week Biden finally paid a visit to East Palestine, Ohio, more than a year after a train derailment showered the town with toxic chemicals. He struggled to maintain his focus during a press conference with local officials and said something about a "date of rakes," whatever that means.
Biden attempted to express support for Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of Alexei Navalny, the Russian dissident who died in prison this week. "Yolanda's gonna, she's gonna continue to the fight [Alexei] had underway," he said.

I think his staff are too scared to tell him to take a test or even tell him that he forgot something. It has been reported he has frequent angry outbursts which doesn't seem out of character for Biden in general, but also for someone who has a few lucid moments, realizes how far gone he is and gets angry. The media already works overtime to cover up Biden's advanced senility.
Off topic: I haven't watched that "Dr Phil" much but he comes off very creepy, almost Saville-like, probably has a lot of skeletons in his closet.

Yeah I agree about Biden and his staff. And the worst offender is probably his wife, who should be trying to force him to retire.
