Need a HD hauler: F450 or Silverado HD?

Both about 44k.... powerstroke is noisy as hell, duramax is better but Ford's interior is way better.

Purely from an aesthetics standpoint, i like the ford. Just make sure you get a chrome grill on it.

I looked at them as well.

Finally I bought one that I really liked, a lighter 2ton truck
for the same price as the f450.

The F-450 is a 1.5 ton truck.

If you bought a 2 ton it would be heavier, dumbass.

Show me a 1500kg F450.

Easy, go Ford.  The GM Duramax powertrain might be all right, but the build quality of the rest of the truck isn't in the same league as Ford, which has become typical of GM.

are you actually dumb enough to believe they are called a half ton or two ton or whatever because they weight that?  Do you actually believe a half ton truck weighs 1000 pounds? Who is this guy anyways?

my daily driver is a chevy, but my work horse is the ford.

chevy= a car like ride.

ford= a work truck meant to have the hell beat out of it.

That's funny. lol Must be why the fleet of brand new 2005's the company I work for bought, were falling apart within months.  You could tell they were cheap when you opened and closed the doors.  The front ends were even weaker.

Duramax far superior Isuzu engineered motor - pair it with the Allison HD tranny and the choice is easy.

Plus the Duramax is civilized and quiet.....the Powerstrokes are loud and spew black smoke like an old school diesel.
