unfortunately, we'll never know. The minute Vince let the IFBB know he plans on competing as a regular pro and not as a Masters' O competitor, Bob realized he could win it. So, in an effort to get at least one win in his pro career, Bob DROPPED out of the NY Pro and decided to do the Master's O. This way, he can beat scrubs down and claim a weak title and not have to face Vince.

And he would have gotten away with it, if not for us meddling kids...

I really have to agree with this statement. I think Vince probably dropped out of the masers when he realized his physique would be compared to those the likes of Chick. He thought well shit I'll just do a real comp.

Yep. And since Vince Taylor made comments about the judging there, he has a virtual lifetime ban from ever winning the thing again. Bob knew if he comes in decent shape, he'll get the nod over Vince.

I *think* both contests are sanctioned by IFBB, meaning it will be judged by more or less the same people.

And certainly not by ALL the same guys that judged the contest years ago.

I doubt that Cicherillo thought that Taylor would drop out of the Masters O. Because the bet he made was whether he was gonna BEAT Taylor or not. Not if he was gonna win the Masters O.

He simply couldn't win any money if Taylor didn't show up.

Cicherillo seems to be straight here.

How Cicherillo think he could beat Vince though, is another matter.

1. funny...didn't know it was a one-man contest.

2. When did Vince "let the IFBB know" what his plans are?

3. when did I "drop out" (or even enter as of yet) the NY Pro?

4. Why would I not want to face Vince?

I was the first to announce entering the MWC 4-5 months ago....plenty of time for ANYBODY to enter if they wished. Vince decided to enter the Australia, and has yet to say what else he'll enter(if anything)...bottom line is, WHO CARES?

The bet was weather he won or not. Vince was just one of the competitors mentioned and he said "Vince too". The bets still on right? Don't go spending that price money yet though Bob. Benfatto gonna be their? If so, he wins. And who ever herd of the late Don Youngblood up until he won the masters?

You care, obviously, or you'd be entering REAL shows with guys your age instead of going against scrubs in the Master's O. Your marketability as a pro is waning, as you can't place in the top 25 at any show, much less be competitve again for the O. You want one win, so you're going for the master's. And that's fine. I don't blame you for playing JV ball just so you can make a shot or two.

However, the second you hear Shawn announce Vince was doing the colorado pro (a gimme qualifier for the O), you knew he wouldn't be in the Masters (geriatric) O and started running your mouth on the mic about how you'd beat him. You knew he wouldn't be in it.

I never said I wouldn't be entering "real" shows with guys my age. BTW allthe guys my age ARE in the show as it's 40+...also, over half the guys in the reg. circuit are my age.

Why would anyone know or not know if Vince was going to enter?
