It doesn't matter whether you walk, run, or crawl a mile the caloric expenditure is the same. You use the same amount of energy to move a given mass at a given distance regardless of the velocity.

Google it.

Not everything in google is factual.  Very big trend of people presenting something they found in Google as a fact. Very contrary to the truth. A five minute mile is not the same as a 15 minute per mile walk.  Walking fast is about a 100 calories per mile.

 There was a study concerning lifting and guys did 12 exercises with Nautilus machines to failure. The calorie count was 175 if my memory serves me. I can cite the actually college study if anyone cares.

My five mile walks burn about 500 calories or a little bit more. Given the standard theory that a pound of fat is 3500 calories one can see how this burns off fat. There is also an after burn of a hyped metabolism that some on google say it isn't true concerning cardio and with some say that applies to  lifting that is contrary to the given theories. All I know is that with cardio I lose fat at a much greater rate than the calorie count would account for.

99% Of the population, do not walk around with 6 pack abs.

I still have a hint of abs.

Well, a few hours ago, I rode a bicycle, I have been lifting  dumbells for about a week.

No need to. I believe you. One thing I question is that if walking and running requires the same energy output, why do people more readily sweat when running as opposed to walking. I believe one does burn slightly more calories when running, but they likely cannot keep the higher intensity for as long a period of time.

As far as I am concerned at my age, walking is fine. I liked running outdoors  when I was younger and more surefooted. These days, I worry I'd be more likely to trip and/or lose my balance and fall. Falling is more of a danger for us old folks.  :(

Covid hit you hard because you are obese.   Obesity and diabetes is and has always been one of the highest risk factors for the Rona.  Call it a wake up scare for you to actually train seriously and lose the blubber.

Well started workout with the weight I usually do 20 reps and just did 50 so going to rest a second before my next set guess I need to up the weight

Incline Dumbell Press 50 reps
Incline Dumbell Press with fatty grips to reduce forearm tendon strain 30 reps
Incline Dumbell Press 3 sets  for 20 reps
