We're trying to stamp out terrorism for good down there in the Middle East. Correct? We are also trying to eliminate hatred toward the United States. Also correct? What I don't get is why we even bother. The way I see it is this: You can blow up the whole friggin golf course, but the gopher will still live. War is like Caddyshack.
What that translates into, basically, is that no matter how hard we try, there's always gonna be terrorism and discontent towards our awesome country (or mine, at least; I don't know where you're from). The only thing we can do short of going down there, wasting more U.S. dollars and live, and putting each and every one of them in concentration camps (probably creating even more hatred) is to prepare. We've already done enough damage, do we really need to do more?
