Me and the Mosque

I was wondering if any of the Muslims on this board has seen this movie and if their congregation is segregated.
It seems odd to me and I would just like a view on why or why not you support this.

Some Christian faiths still divide their congregation. This was much more prevalent 100 years ago though.
