It's crazy, he was posting things to a private group for months, and I guess no one took it seriously.

I'm guessing 14 as in "14 words", the WP oath. The front sight leg said "n-----" in the un blacked out version. The shooter stylized himself like the Christchurch, NZ shooter, who wrote a bunch of WP type stuff on his gun.
