I busted out laughing when it came across the screen. This could be the biggest Lib meltdown since Trump won.

COULD BE? COULD BE?

I just posted a thread about this on the Politics forum. Now, let's see how much the goofs in DC really care about political violence and "protecting our democracy" now!!

Very stupid for states to say you have to carry a rape/incest baby to term. Fucked up people. Why should they make a decision for anyone?

I am quite surprised they overturned Roe vs Wade. The court has been very timid about challenging established precedent and appearing to be "legislating" from the bench. This is why they did not overturn ObamaCare in 2012, despite it being clearly unconstitutional (the court dodged by saying it was a tax) as well as overturning the Chevron deference. They did rule in such a way that the Chevron deference will largely die in most cases. But they did not outright overturn it.

The other reason I did not expect Roe to be overturned was that it was based on the previous case of Griswold vs State of Connecticut in 1966, which largely established privacy in medical affairs. \

It is worth noting that Roe vs. Wade was overturned in the very narrow fashion that abortion was seen as simply not being an issue of federal jurisdiction. This means that abortion, as a political issue, is thrown back to the states. One interpretation of this is that any legislative federal ban on abortion would also be considered unconstitutional. Thus, abortion stops being a political issue on the national level.

The counter-argument is that you shouldn't compound one crime (rape/incest) with another (infanticide).

WWE wrestler, Titus O'Neil comes to mind. His mother was raped by one of her uncles, when she was 10. She had O'Neil at age 11.

anyways, the democrats had 50 years to codify this into law and failed to do so.  Proof that they don't give a shit about their constituents.  Hopefully this accelerates their destruction as an entity.

The meltdown isn't even warranted as the majority of states are not going to outlaw abortions. If anything it will just be an inconvenience for women to have to drive to another state.

Well thats just it. RvW is about States rights as much as it is about abortion.  Individual states can still allow it or ban it based on their governance.

Overturning it is simply saying that having an abortion is not a guaranteed constitutional right. But states can still decide.

She isn't supposed to be talking about this anyway at a press conference. The Supreme Court is completely separate from the legislative branch. She said something about what Congress will do about it. They aren't doing shit.

To me it would be a crime to force someone to carry a rape/incest baby. That’s disgusting. Kill it immediately as it will have its disgusting raping/incest ways like it’s father.

Agree on this one. That the Dem machine installed Kamala as VP after she was thoroughly rejected by the voters tells you all you need to know.

Not to mention, the Dems also change the judicial filibuster rule, allowing confirmation of judges with simple majorities instead of 60-vote supermajorities.

And, to top it all off, their hit job on Kavanaugh BACKFIRED!!! Not only did they fail to keep him off the court, they LOST TWO SENATE SEATS in 2018. This gave the GOP the votes to spare to get Barrett confirmed, knowing that Murkowski and Collins would side with the Dems and vote her down in 2020.
