Diamond rated high end restaurants can have good food but I don't think they elevate a ribeye or porterhouse beyond a good steakhouse.  I've always thought those cuts stood on their own without excessive manipulation.

It was a steak house in Arlington va where they did it so I tried it and it was great anyway getting way to lean I am excited for this one though 4 piece Popeyes

At least it is in what looks like a cast iron skillet.  I wouldn't have cut it open or stuffed things into a good steak, but to each his own.

This process depends on the recipe on is using and what it is they are cooking. Many leg of lamb recipes recommend cutting small slits into the meat and inserting garlic and rosemary. If you've never tried this, you should. Roasted leg of lamb is delicious when fixed this way.

One way to crank up the flavor and juiciness of a good steak is to finish it with a pat of butter right before serving. It is a animal fat overkill that is worth the risk of a coronary.  :)

Yes, lamb is good that way.  Put it on top of some baby potatoes and shallots while it's cooking it will turn out fatty but really good. 

I have no reason not to believe bhanks when he says they cut into his steak to put garlic in it but I don't see the point.  I think it would mess up that nice crust you get on the surface.  If you want some garlic flavor you could just mix it into the butter on top of the steak as you serve it.  And I don't get the jalapenos on it either.  The spicy kick seems like something more suited to a skirt or flank cut than a t-bone/porterhouse like in his picture.

For people with ulcerative colitis, hot and spicy foods may trigger or worsen a flare."  Hope you have plenty of toilet paper in the house.
