Obama is another Kerry type..out of touch with mainstream Americans. He wants out of Iraq because its trendy. We'll see if he has a plan. The problem with cutting military spending is that u have to have a clue about the military before u do it. This guy has none. He's to junior anyway but I guess he'll run.

I think we need the candidates (and where they stand on the issues) first.

I'm hoping McCain can wins the nomination although I highly doubt it. And if he doesn't I'd love to see him run as a third party candidate.

While no politician is perfect I respect him most out of the current crop of candidates. And who would you rather have as Commander in Chief during a time of war?

I'm still a little peeved that the powers that be in the Republican party wanted Bush over him and pushed him aside. How anyone could want Bush over McCain defies logic.

McCain is too old.  I'm sick of this geriatric crap in politics... The senate looks like an old folks home... Half of these fuckers have lost it and just say what their team of advisors/the party tell them will keep them in office ;D  McCain will be the old president ever right?  Good God...

I'd support an old McCain over that dyke Hilary any day.
unfortunately, there's a chance I might too.  Just because I really don't like Hillary... I so hope she does not get the nomination.

Not exactly.  I believe both of his parents were professors?  He went to arguably the best and most expense private secondary school in Hawaii, which almost guaranteed his admission into an ivy league school.  That isn't to say he didn't earn everything he has achieved, but he is not your typical rising from the ashes minority from the inner city.

Thats what i was getting. Parents both had doctorates. He is not a product of the inner city. The fact that he is "black' won't play once the professional politicians begin to attack him. They have shown him at baptist churches dancing to the music. I'm sure there was alot of that at his house. This guy was educated abroad as well. Good for him...but he's not a man of the people and should not run as one. He's no better then any other politician. I'm going fo John Maccain.

Right - I don't know yet.

I will vote for whichever person lets me keep my guns, and is open to reopening 911.

Why do you need to keep your guns (aside from the fact that you invested money in them)?

PS You're anti-Giuliani then, I take?

You don't have to be a rishing from the ashes minority from the inner city to inspire people. Seeing him on television, he seems like a smart, but modest guy with new ideas. And if he did oppose the war from the very start, then he's got the credibility that Kerry lacked.
