Would you have supported war in Afghanistan to secure the oil/natural gas pipeline?
We had negotiated with the taleban, then they reneged and chose a firm from Argentina. This would have put the oil in the hands of Chavez' little group of nations and would have put the US at a huge strategic disadvantage.
