Getbig guidelines and rules - in simple terms...
This board is for people who like bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini and having fun. If you don’t, then don’t come here.
We try to have fun here, and be entertained. Each board has its own style and seriousness.
These are the main rules which are not allowed and with block you from posting here.
1) No racist posts. We all know what discussion is vs. blatant racism.
2) No gay or pornographic pictures on main boards.
3) No malicious personal bashing, especially on females, and others who can’t defend themselves.
4) No spamming commerical posts of events, web sites or products without approval.
5) No personal information of people family, etc.
6) No threads that are just meant to ruin the boards.

Same rules as the last year or so. Just enforcing it more since a few people ruined it for others.
To a point. One person saying what they like can ruin it for hundreds. Don't like it. Dont post here.
Say what you like. Uh no! Within the rules.
Learn to use the other boards are are the right topics.
Also, any problems or concerns, you can always 'report to moderator' and it will be taken care of or the post / thread / picture deleted.

Seriously, there ia lot that I don't mind, which is tolerated, and we all know it.
But the same rules have been there, and people keep asking me why did they get banend or go to Time Out. Now they know.
Obviously, it isnt 100%, but a guideline. Do you have better suggestions, please start a thread in the Comments Boards. Would love to discuss it with you.

How about enforcing a rule that people not libel others? It is too easy for anonymous people to say whatever they like and not take any responsibility for what they post. No one has the right to call others pedophiles and perverts just because they don't like them or disagree with them. This place is beyond what is civil.
I can't understand why threads knocking fat people and not fat bodybuilders are allowed to stay on this forum. At the very least, irrelevant non-bodybuilding threads like "fat people lack willpower'', should be moved to the silly forums.

I would prefer not to have any gay posts, so if any gay or homosexual posts can be deleted that would be great. Having said that, I still really do not mind too much if they post. Those who want to look at it can, and people like me will just usually not look at it and jump to the next topic.

Question: if Rule #1 is violated daily, with no enforcement, why is posting FB pics of members worthy of immediate bans? FB pictures are generally public information, yet blatant racism is tolerated. Just wondering

As far as posting each one in a link, I don't think that's really necessary in order to address the issue. All I'm saying here is if you (the site, not you specifically) isn't going to make an effort at moderating racists comments, then remove the rule. That would make more sense.

I'm not black, I just despise racism inconsistent rules. If someone takes the time to make up rules, they should take the time to follow and enforce them or they should remove said rules. Anything else makes the rules either useless, or eventually unfairly enforced. As it stands, posters can make racial slurs till the cows come home with almost absolute immunity, while posting a public facebook page gets someone banned.
