Title: Turkey, turkey, turkey.
Post by: CalvinH on November 24, 2015, 05:26:34 AM
Great holiday in the CalvinH family :)

lets see. aps , Italian Wedding soup, dark and white turkey, cranberry sauce, corn, mashed potatoes, yams,
gravy, different breads...a whole table of deserts.
full stocked bar {I don't drink that much cuz I have to drive at the end of the night}
football and the guys all play poker after dinner.

...and then turkey sandwiches when you swear you cant eat anymore.

I've lost all spirit associated with any holiday. It's nice to see everyone and hang out but they've become more obligation than celebration. Even the abundance of food is boring because all my favorite foods (i.e., Kusa) is only around in the summer.

You mean stuffed squash, like this?

zucchini is available year round everywhere. If you want "baby zucchini", then maybe hit up a higher end grocery store.  I see these little guys at Mideastern markets all the time.  A place like Whole Foods would for sure have them.

I occasionally dispatch Big Chiro Flex and the poster Hulkotron to bridge the digital realm to the physical one when posters need "a dealing with".

Let's leave it at that.

You're worse off than most of the black people I know. I'm glad racism helps make your life bearable.

I showed some restraint and only ate twice.

Hitting the gym for a few before work takes over the day.

I also only ate twice....twice the soup, twice the turkey servings, twice the deserts, and a full turkey dinner sandwich before I left.

Went to the gym and it was fucking great to see a bunch of fit people doing their thang. Just felt great seeing a bunch of people who obviously made fitness a priority in their daily lives.

If I wasn't at a real gym it would be a bunch of fatasses who only show up after overeating on holidays.

I wanted to go to the gym in the morning but didn't make it...now I have to go Saturday to make it up :-\

I'm going early Saturday and then spending the rest of the day cooking. The one kid claims she needs a home cooked meal before heading back to school, LOL!

I can't complain, though. A lot of kids that age wouldn't be excited about hanging out with their dad.
