Naw...I hit the gym for enjoyment, dont care about having striated glutes or six pack but the main reason I gained weight is because I stopped taking preworkouts and rat burners a few years ago due to heart palpitations....better to have safety fat and be alive then shredded and dead

90x3 is actually pretty good if your max was 110 and you haven't used dumbbells for bench for a year. Your raw benching power is still there, you just need to let your stabilizer muscles catch up. If you continue using dumbbells you'll probably get back to your max within 10-12 chest workouts without needing to push yourself too hard.

I am not morbidly obese. I've gained about 30 pounds over the years but a lot of it is muscle as I still continue to lift moderately heavy with drop sets. It's just more due to age...slower metabolism along with no longer using stimulants. Competing in bodybuilding for the most part is over...not stepped onstage since 2009 and I want to enjoy life at this point. If I ever decide to compete again, then I will.
This is why a lot of bodybuilders die....they stay on the sauce for too long and try to maintain their physique at any cost. I'm not saying I cant fall over dead but I sleep and feel much better after getting rid of those stimulants I used to take. If that means that I'm going to be a little more Chungus then fuck it.

I give Vince credit for not being anonymous unlike someone
like myself, he puts himself out there. He seems pretty good natured and hardworking. OMR said he's been entertaining us for 20 years. He has but people are laughing at him, not with him, even his "friends" on here. It could be seen as somewhat cruel to indulge him like this. But anyway...
Vince does not eat like he says he does. He is obese. Shit, many of us look like shit, myself included, that's not why I'm saying this. He most likely believes in what he's saying, he's not lying consciously. There is interesting research in this area as well as tons of anecdotes, people do not know they are veering off their meal plans. No his metabolism hasn't changed much and those caffeine stims did not boost his metabolism much. What they do is reduce appetite. His metabolic rate is probably the highest it has ever been because he probably hasn't been this heavy before.
He probably has a skewed body image perception as well. He was maybe 18% bodyfat when he was "competing." Normal people do not get onstage like this.
But if he's happy, great.

You need to first break away from the mentality that you need "products" to lose weight.
Eat smaller meals even if you're eating garbage, just no bingeing. Do that consistently for an extended period of time and your stomach capacity will shrink. Once that happens dieting is pretty easy and keeping the weight off is even easier. Just avoid bingeing and never make plans to eat at a buffet.

People like Vince will just use the excuse that they stopped using their dieting stack (even if it's perfectly safe) for getting fat again.
Doing it via drugs won't provide a long term solution because the issue normally isn't losing some weight, it's keeping it off. The vast majority of people who lose weight fail to keep it off and in most cases end up fatter than before they actually started a diet.
Also if you look closely at my post you'd notice I didn't actually mention eating for health. You can eat garbage and still lose weight if you're as fat as Vince.

No diabetes. Blood pressure is low...really low. While I stopped taking stains, I still religiously take supplements such as fish oil , cq10, cranberry tablets, and a multivitamin . I steer clear of pain medications unless it's some serious pain and just tough out most injuries...overuse of pain meds can cause liver issues. Also despite most comments, I floss and brush with a sonic toothbrush and visit the dentist 3 times a year. Having healthy gums and teeth improves your health, prevents infections and disease , and keeps your breath fresh
Again I'm heavier but not morbidly obese.

Small cut... 18% would require about 6 months on protein only. He was maybe 18% when he competed, no abs, no veins, no cuts anywhere.
Edit: I googled Vince's pics to remind myself and 18% is me being very generous, it was probably much higher than that. He was maybe 60lbs from ripped.

I'm curious as to if the reason you gained weight is truly the fact you stopped taking preworkouts and "rat" burners or if it's volume and caloric content of food. You mentioned meal prepping. Can you list what a typical day for you is like in the diet department? From wake up to bedtime? I'm not judging, I could lose a few pounds myself and have rationalized over the years it was because of this or that but the reality was I am a habitual snacker at night in front of the TV. Not a bit hungry, but for about 90 min a day, I'll snack out of habit watching TV. My eating during the day is usually very healthy. It's that window that kills me. Once I came to that realization it's been easier to stay closer to my goal weight.

Normally, some of the time I'm online, it's when I'm hanging out with my kids while we are on tablets or something. Now because of COVID paranoia, there are always questions about whether or not I was within six feet of someone who may have not worn a mask once. ::) It doesn't help that where I live is the worst in North America for restrictions currently, with curfews and all this other dumb shit. Every restaurant still closed, etc.
So basically, I'm splitting time with family differently than before. One pair of grandparents are close to 70, so it's somewhat understandable.
Some people will only stop being scared when they are told to stop being scared. Unfortunately, these people are chiefly driving the more irrational aspects of this agenda, IMO.
