iron cross, i agree.  well known that weider used models to sell his products.  if you look at a number of his ads in the 60's, they were promoting a concept.  "Muscle up and make out" was used in a lot of his ads.  he also used the phrase "the power to lift girls over your head with one arm".  Weider was selling to young males the idea that if you muscle up, the girls will flock to you.  Arnold says in his memories of the late 60's early 70's that when the bodybuilders headed to the bar scene, the girls would flock to them.  so with the subject theme in mind it is interesting to see that many times weider used pics of his bodybuilders on the beach lifting girls overhead.  here is another one with chuck fautz

A handsome Brad Pit type in  baggy surf shorts with a wry smile will pick up 1000x more girls then most bodybuilders.

I'm never mistaken for Brad LOL, but I had a LOT more female interest in my mid/late 40's after my last divorce.
I'm no  stud ladies man, but I've  had plenty of fun during my younger days.

However, I was blown away at how much BETTER it was when I was recently divorced and older.
As a man being over 40, well groomed & dressed  with a decent job, home and car was much BETTER .
I  got flirty interest from 20 something hottys to middle aged MLF's and classy career woman.

Being upbeat and positive with a clean set of clothes and decent job goes a long way for any man as we age.
