Not part of my training routine the plan this week was 3 sets of 5

Again I can press that easy but lets see you lift anything anything at all. I will wait. I made my BP challenge I pressed 320lbs 5 months post surgery. You couldn't press 275lbs and got all mad about it.

Brian can get a pass on form, because the lift takes a few workouts to get the right feel.  It's more of a hip hinge.

However, one could get better doing a full reset, and following a simple progression program.

I have no doubt once the lift becomes difficult or requires extra effort to progress, he will abandon it.
