“Getting my pro card this year.”
« on: November 08, 2022, 10:59:26 AM »
Here’s the deal.

I train in 2/3 different gyms. One gym is a hardcore powerlifting/strongman and bodybuilding gym. One gym is a cool gym geared more for “athletic performance.”  The other gym is filled with fitness people, bikini competition girls and wannabe bodybuilders.

At gym number 3 every single guy or girl always tells me, “Dude, this is my year. I’m going for my pro card. I’m bringing the complete package. That pro card is mine.”

What the fuck?

Evidently they gave out 54 pro cards at the USA this year. Maybe I’m a pro and I don’t even know it?

Quickest way to go pro is by doing open bodybuilding, classic and men's physique classes are completely stacked, whereas bodybuilding classes 5-10 dudes tops in each weight division.

How do you train in 2/3's of a gym?

Do you stay out of the other 1/3?

Are the gym dues only 2/3 as much?

And you should get a pro-card so you can get a huge multi-million dollar $$ contract like other pro-athletes like Tom Brady.

Who doesn’t have a pro card nowadays? I have one, Arvilla’s got one, Hankins has one as well as Soul Crusher and Coach. Come to think of it, I think the only one who doesn’t have one that posts on here is Muscle Matters

It is more like, "I'm getting my Schmoe Card this year!"  Outside of mooslimes and some white and black Americans here in the states, bodybuilders are the laziest people on the planet.

You know what is even more rampant than guys claiming to go for their pro card? Guys complaining about how pro cards are too easily obtainable nowadays, yet they don't stand a snowball chance in hell to get one. Some have even killed themselves in a quest to "turn down a pro card". It goes to show the proportions these delusions take on in the minds of the genetically ungifted.

Should you get an agent to handle contract negotiations if you get a pro-card?

After all, NFL, NBA, and MLB pros have agents.

The Power Palace!

We built that kick ass outdoor gym for Covid.  It’s still there. It’s on property we use to store construction equipment. I honestly have not trained there in several months.

It’s still pretty cool. Lots of good memories too.👊🏻

Iron brother- I’m partners in one of those gyms. The other two are extremely close so logistically it’s easy to hit either gym. Friends own all of them so it works out nicely price wise.

an extra few dollars as a personal trainer

I think they have to pay $300 every year to keep the pro card.

No need to bring Uncle Joon, the big-nose Paki into this.
