Probably my favourite Oak movie.

It’s completely awesome and is one of those rare flicks that can be viewed over and over and over ...

I saw it in a theatre. Obviously have it on DVD in my collection. And even when I stumble onto it on TV, unless I’m pressed for time, it remains on. Doesn’t matter at what point in the movie it is.

Badass.

Totally agree with this sentiment - almost worth a thread of its own

There are very few like this for me - off the top of my head I always stay with these if I find them no matter what point

I bought the 20th anniversary DVD when it came out. It had lots of good/decent backstage footage and interesting commentary with John McTiernan, who supplied audio trivia during a replay of the entire movie.
