Should have been a big star.

RIP.

79? Hate no idea he was that old. Thought maybe early to mid 60's. I remember him in a few movies from not that long ago and he didn't look like he was in his 70's.

Fred Ward's best role was as Charles Willeford's Hoke Moseley in "Miami Blues". It's too bad they didn't do more movies based on that series of books, but I guess it was just too quirky a character -

.

Full film, well worth the watch.

I remember when Barber first played for Dallas I swear he looked like the next Earl Campbell. Then he got a big contract I think it was around 4 years at 10 million per or so and as soon as the ink was dry he was a complete different back. His biggest concern then seemed to be not getting hurt. I guess I don’t blame him but he wasn’t the same player

Actor Brad Johnson Dies of COVID-Related Illness

Adding to the lengthy list of COVID-related deaths, actor Brad Johnson reportedly succumbed to complications as a result of battling the virus.

The former Marlboro man, best known for his role in Steven Spielberg’s romantic drama Always, died of pneumonia—after contracting it while fighting the coronavirus—on February 18, 2022, in Forth Worth, Texas, his representative Linda McAlister announced. He was 62-years-old.

His family honored him as a “true Renaissance man” in a Facebook tribute released in March 2022, mentioning his diverse set of talents including his acting career and love for the outdoors.

“Although he was taken too early, he lived life to the fullest and taught his children to do the same,” the statement notes. “He was larger than life, and he will not be forgotten. His legacy will continue to live on just as he intended.”

Bhanky listed all his physical ailments (about 20 or so) so I think he should be in the pool.
