"To do this, they need a large audience. Their goal is not so much to keep folks informed as it is to keep THEM UNIFORMED & UNQUESTIONING and buying from their commercial sponsors"

You got it slightly wrong - I've corrected it for you.

Buying from their commercial sponsors... yes.

Keeping folks uninformed and unquestioning... no.

When people can't believe they are provided some fairly accurate information from a media source, they eventually abandon it. For this reason,  any media must correctly and convincingly inform folks, at least occasionally.

It is human nature to question almost everything.

'You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.'  (This saying is attributed to several different sources dating back the 1684. One of them being Abraham Lincoln).

Appreciate the point you are looking to make, but unfortunely I dont believe this is a universal sweeping truth. Certainly i would suggest in a majority of cases it can easily be overridden by a more basic component of human nature: that of wanting to find something to believe in and be part of, which in turn can lead to willfully ignoring inconsistencies/contradictions/lies etc for an often indefinite period in order to keep cognitive and emotional alignment with the bigger driver of believing and belonging

If the last three years hasnt taught you that the vast majority of people believe what they are spoon fed then you simply havent been paying attention.

Abrams Tanks to be Delivered to Ukraine

The United States will provide Ukraine with 31 M1 Abrams tanks. That is the required number to equip an entire Ukraine tank battalion.

Along with the tanks, the U.S. will be giving Ukraine the parts and equipment necessary to effectively repair and maintain these tanks on the battlefield. Eight M88 recovery vehicles will also be shipped to Ukraine, to accompany the 31 tanks.

31 tanks.

Their entire country is being leveled.

I'm sure this will change the tides.

Why doesn't Russia use all of their resources to take Kiev instead of wasting all these resources in Eastern Ukraine?

Foot by foot strategy works great, brutal artillery bombardments for hours, folows by drones , only 1 in 10 foot soldiers could get wounded !.

Slow but very efective, every single house/building is drone scaned before infantry get in action !.

Storming attacks could exposes flanks !.

Artemovsk is the latest example of it , it's slow but systematic elimination of Ukers, Soledar before .................. ;)

Odessa is now under missiles attack, every Ukers military building is smashed  ;D

Oh, Ukraine is "winning"  ;D

It's 2023 , not 1945 !.  ;)

Outdated technology, $ 500 drone easily destroy that junk !.

East Ukraine is all Russian citizens,  they can hold on to that

If the try to hold on to western city's like Kiev,  Russia will be over run by insurgents/guerrilla tactics

It is Amazing how one sided Ukraine is Winning & destroying everything Russian.
They're doing so well there's no need for other countries to keep sending them
more & more military equipment - soon they'll have more than the Taliban !!

Ukraine has a much smaller military compared to Russia, and they do not have factories to replenish those losses.

That is why the USA and EU are providing them with military equipment and weapons.

They don't need to be replenished as they're winning so well
They'll have the whole Russian army destroyed very soon & can then refurbish
all that equipment.
