Had to take a three-week break from lifting. Stuck doing just cardio. That really sucked. First day back today.
Three mile walk with the dog at 0-dark thirty, followed by 30 minute Peloton ride. Those things are intense.
Monday is chest/tricep day. Scaled back version due to the layoff. This afternoon:
Barbell bench - 7 sets
Pushups - 100 reps. Took a bunch of sets to get there. lol
Pec dec - 3 sets
Dips - 3 sets
Seated dips - Hoist - 6 sets
rope pull downs - 3 sets
I only train each body part one day a week. Typically 12-16 sets per body part. I'm also old school. I bench, squat, and deadlift every week.
