SMF mod(ification) to ignore users on a per-user basis

Imagine the bliss of being able to permanently mute certain users from ever desecrating your screen.

I'll bet you could pull a report of the most "ignored" user for further discussion/action.

Exactly. Broken/half conversations of peace. Part of the allure of Getbig is not knowing what the next thread/reply is.

It would become a watered-down experience if you have multiple members on ignore.
