when i ws in college and i'd see a girl in 1 of my advanced physics classes i'd politely ask to help them by giving them directions to the sociology building ...

i saw one in my differential equations class once and i burst out laughing....she got mad and i consoled myself by telling me " it betters the curve"

man i love being an ass <grin>

One young lady in my calculus class was frustrated with trying to understand some basic derivatives, and I tried to comfort her by saying, "Hey, this stuff is hard. I even know some guys who don't understand it." Was she grateful? No. That is when I realized that Ayn Rand was right...Helping is futile.
