Bob has always been a great representive for bodybuilding. Smart and well-mannered man!

Had to google if they still got "war for the worlds" in bodybuilding.com. People were so pissed off on getbig when Bob won the show.

Bob is the perfect example of an old school bodybuilder.......class act all the way,great representative for the sport, and way to smart to ruin his physique by overdoing gear and SEO`s.

As far as Jim Rockell goes,he is a great guy,good person,family man, and as honest as the day is long................done a lot of good things for bodybuilding.

I just want to add that it amazes me by the sheer number of numbnuts who give Bob shit here............must be a true bunch of losers in real life, or some really immature kids posting from their moms basement.

The guy is always cool unless provoked or has to deal with the ridiculous fucked up made up stories about himself.

Instead of being assholes,you should follow his example.

I equate Bob to Vinny Galante, both class acts who played the game for quite some time trying to get their pro card. both weren't willing to risk health and play the size game.

Their culmination was winning a Pro Card not persay winnng a Tier 1 show.

Bob @ 280 wouldnt look anywhere near as good as he did at around 240 - 250, i dont know why he gets alot of stick on here but IMO his physique was excellent. He also knew how to present himself and im very surprised he didnt do alot better than he did, conditioning perhaps or just poor judging? All i can say is, that from an unbiased POV, he had a look that most people would kill for and it was alot more pleasing to the eye than some of the mutants youll find today - think Bob Paris with another 30lbs.

WTF are u talking about? Most posts in this thread are pro-bob. Surely because:

1) He has more getbig gimmicks than god
2) His buddies know how bad the situation really is for Bob
3) Most people have forgotten when bob used to appear regularly to pour scorn on athletes that did not tow the line, and how many times he was caught lying

Bob is the typical slime ball: politics and lies above any type of personal integrity.

As athlete's rep he betrayed his constituency at every corner taking the side of NPC/IFBB against the interest of the athletes. During Bob's term in office the amount of money going to the competitors vs the promoters + their enablers ie NPC/IFBB officials- has always gone down. That is because Bob needed the latter and not the former

I have been here for many years and he has been a total disgrace as far as his job as athlete's rep and more importantly as an human being

You LEFT competitive bbing though, from what I remember. It was not like they were screwing you left and right, you split and when you returned got your pro card.

I still remember reading about it in Flex years ago, there was a big to do. I remember thinking "Who is this guy?" but you are alright with me. So many turn away from bbing without ever getting that pro card, and I will bet my left shoe someday they will be sitting there at 60 drinking scotch at 9:30am wondering how it might have felt..if only things had gone better...

I respect Bob because even though he did gay for pay at The Mirage.... it was strictly underwear on and just wrestling and schmoe squatting. Bob drew the line at penis action and that shows he is a man with principles.
