Sadly, those Taliban Toyotas will roar again.  Even after they recommence the soccer field executions and burning down girls' schools, I don't believe we'd return.  Drone strikes, missile launches, and the threat of sanctions will be it.
 
bin Laden ran Al Qaeda like a business, so without him, it cannot regroup to anything like it was before.  And that forehead smashing Egyptian doctor ain't all that inspiring to those who would pursue jihad.
